I will just say this.
It will be a crime if Herrera doesn’t get at least a wild card in Moto2.

She’s an absolute killer, the likes of who we see on the MotoGP grid. She used to duke it out with Quartararo, Viñales and the likes, so this should be of no surprise.

This lady has talent in spades.
I'd hit the brakes on that. Less than a handful of the ladies in the WCR have international experience. Maria raced in Moto3 for several years and couldn't do much.
I wouldn't mind her getting a wild card in Moto2 but would expect her to fight for points.

You may not know this, but she’s a race winner in the junior classes against Viñales, Quartararo, Rins etc. Her time in Moto3 was with poorly funded teams (And the last year in a self funded team), which is far from ideal to show her caliber as a rider.

Anyone who could beat those riders in junior classes, and has ridden in Moto 3 (regardless of team situations) deserves a shot at Moto 2 in my opinion.

This is what bugs the .... out of me.

The truly qualified women racers get completely ignored by the media at large while they push aesthetically pleasing dolts who have done nothing.

Hear hear.
Having followed the junior classes back then, I can confirm that one of these two was considered the next big thing (And he sort of became one to be fair), while the other got looked over because she was of the wrong gender

Time-wise the classes are well divided up. Moto3 about 5 seconds a lap slower than Moto2, and Moto2 about 5 seconds a lap slower than MotoGP.
Fun fact, pre Ride Shyte Devices (TM) the Moto2 bikes had the highest cornering speeds due to the narrower tyres and sweeping lines, the MotoGP bikes making up the advantage on the straights.

There were even the odd races here and there where the Moto2 race winners have had lap times quicker than the MotoGP backmarkers.

Sergio Garcia desperately needs a mental strength coach.

This is how he lost the Moto3 world championship to Izan Guevara too, a rider who is clearly inferior to Garcia in terms of on track talent.

Is it ironic that Sergio Garcia shares the same name as his golfing compatriot who was also noted for being mentally weak for many years?
