Good pole for MM in changeable conditions that didn’t suit Vinners so will be watching him closely in the races to see if that flash of brilliance hes shown us so far can become a flame. All three of the Yamahas bringing up the rear and Bradl beating Marini which perhaps wouldn’t be too shameful but hell this is Stefan Bradl we’re talking about not his dad!

Big save by Marquez into turn 1 straight after his pole lap too. He was up for a faster lap again and rather than happy with the save was pissed that he wrecked the lap. He was happy when he worked out he got pole though.

I'll also add, what impressed me most was the first lap in Q2. Marc was 0.5s clear of everyone, including Binder and Franco, who had been out in Q1 and knew the conditions.

So Binder is the only rider to be ahead of a Ducati on the Grid. If Binder wasn't there, the Ducati riders would have the first 8 places on the grid. Can Binder ruin the Ducati cup? I suspect not
