Even though he is not an alien, he is one of the top 10 riders in the world and deserves to be in MotoGP as much as any of the other non aliens



Pedrosa is an alien, far and above Nicky in GP stature, not sure what that has to do with Lorenzo crushing Rossi, but im guessing it was just a deflection from the fact that Lorenzo kicked Rossi's ... AGAIN!

Top 10 is not even midpack in this series !

Knowing what little I know about the Sasquatch specie, I'd say they are closer to a pure bread in the sense that its probably a genetic mutation, a one of a kind.

BTW, I think that space suit Lorenzo wore was helpful in bringing his rival down to Earth.

Not to mention how totally desperate Rossi must be when going to that nightmare of bike. Only the fantastic talent of Stoner and Hayden prevent prevent lapping every second lap, right?

Ducati has been a bit of an enigma (I suppose not to you since you can see right though the fairing from your TV) but to the rest of its riders, none have faired too well (fact). That included Hayden last year, but this year much improved (yet still with suspension issues & the other Ducs lagging behind characteristic of every year since the 800s). Rossi will not be riding the nightmare Ducati that only Stoner has made work, he'll be riding the Ducati that has, for a year now or so, being prepared for his arrival.

True, I'd say Nicky is top 5 still. The factories are not all spec of eachother. But we know that Duc is third behind Honda.

Surely you're not trying to compare haydens "factory" ducati to the old stock costumer bikes in an effort to prove hayden accomplishments

Again, I think you may be missing a fundamental truth about MotoGP. That is, the quality of the ride. Which do you consider to be the better package, a satellite Yamaha...or a Satellite Ducati, Honda, and even factory Suzuki? I consider the recent 250 crop pretty good riders, but you wouldn't know it from their results. Why?

I don't see the relevance of this point. The 250cc rookies have all had their own merrits this season and have all had some impressive and decent rides. The motogp field is pretty small this year (as you know) and besides the real front runners they've only been beaten by DePuniet, Edwards and Melandri. All 3 of those riders have proved they can run at the front and been in factory teams. There is no shame in being beaten by these riders in the standings in your first year. I don't think the rookies results have been all that bad.

Yes, pretty close. It would be hard to rank Nicky Dovi and Spies. Now I know its difficult to imagine it, but in your mind's imagination, put Dovi & Spies on Nicky's bike.

I think Hayden on Dovi are close, but Dovi has actually won a race in the last few years and beat Nicky Hayden in his rookie sesaon on a satellite bike.
