And that means Hayden's title isn't worth as some other champions titles. Not even close to Casey's last year championship.

All titles are worth the same amount. Grow up, kid.

No loser, they didn't. But I didn't except that Hayden's fanatics will accept that. Keep consoling each other with BS like "All titles are worth the same amount".

Show me in the MotoGP rules where it says certain MotoGP World Championships are not wort as much as others. Good luck googling that stat.

I am not fanatical Hayden's ...... like you that I need stat to know that.

Hayden's 2006 title was disgrace for complete sport.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (#41 @ Nov 11 2008, 12:22 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Fluke. Rarely happened in MotoGP that WC contender has 3 mechanical DNF's in one season.

Both Rossi this year and Casey last year won by more than 3 races (75 points).

DNF's are part of it aren't they, or they only count for some riders and not others or is there a different set of rules that says DNF's = 0 points OR is it possible that consistency over race wins is an alternate way to win a season.

(This has me so distracted from work...)

Also, I like "fluke".

Is Hayden therefore "flukey" ?

Hayden is low average rider and hypocrite.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Andy Roo @ Nov 11 2008, 03:10 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>DNF's are part of it aren't they

No, usually they aren't. I mean 3 tech. related DNF's.

At least we're in agreement. There are no stats for you to base your argument on. Thank you.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (#41 @ Nov 10 2008, 08:30 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Neither should be to know that Hayden's championship trophy was travesty.
At least he got one. More than countless other riders can say.

So therefore for Hayden who is unskilled and lowbrow and all of that to win.

The entire field must have experienced 3 DNF's except him, even his team mate on the same bike.

Do you understand that there was, like, heaps of riders challenging in 2006 and he beat all of them. The Rossi focus is disturbing.

In 2006 the season ended up like this

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE <div class='quotemain'>1. Nicky Hayden Honda USA 252
2. Valentino Rossi Yamaha ITA 247
3. Loris Capirossi Ducati ITA 229

13. Sete Gibernau Ducati ESP 95
14. Shinya Nakano Kawasaki JPN 92

It appears you see it like this

To help I've taken Rossi out. Now explain THIS season to me.

2006 was over 3 years ago.

answer the question and stay on topic instead of arguing about 2006.

Fluke. Benefited from best package and unbelievable amount of luck.

Catalunya crash.

Catalunya crash too + ...... customer bike. Despite this he won more races than Hayden on factory bike.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE <div class='quotemain'>5. Daniel Pedrosa Honda ESP 215

Rookie. Same number of victory as Hayden. That is shameful for Hayden.

Proof how .... Yamaha really was. Roberts ahead of Edwards in points.

See above.

It seems to me #41 that Hayden had a championship while everyone else had excuses.

Pity it wasn't the world excuse championship, then someone other than Nicki would have won (validating your theory)

Although I must pose the question. Is it different any other year, someone wins and everyone else has an excuse why they didn't?

So no matter what year it is 2nd is just first in line to have your excuse listened to...

I'm sorry Jane. I'll not answer the troll anymore...

I'm backing Nicki in for a few podiums and maybe a race win at Laguna.

Because he was a worthy champion in 2006, maybe not spectacular but absolutely worthy!

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (somedamnwriter @ Nov 11 2008, 11:08 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Stay on topic guys.

You are talking to Pinky dude
<
And judging from his posts, I now have the theory that he betted his life savings on Vale winning that 2006 title. Consequently he has had to sell himself in Hong Kong, scraping by a meagre living (ugly rentboys have to suck that much harder) while cursing NH. To top that off, everybody who agreed with him at the end of 2006 that NH sucked (but not as hard as Pinky on the job) has since come around and decided that Farmboy is actually ok and in possession of enough talent to have a MotoGP ride, leaving Pinky very lonely and bitter.

And on topic, I would f-in hope so! Assen, PI and the American rounds as most likely places.

It'd be nice to see Nicky on the top step of the podium again but winning outside the States and after a proper race with no dnfs from anyone else. But God help us if he does, this place is already a Nicky worshipping arena.
