If you don't know who the "dude" in my avatar is, it means you have very little knowledge of the history of motorcycle racing :D then again tho, you are a pony, so that's fine.

However I made a JOKE to gui just to state I disagree with several parts of that one post, thought we're all old enough to get it and certainly wasn't really trying to piss anyone off.

I am only happy to read a different opinion as this is a forum, if we all had the same thoughts it'd be cult set wouldn't it

Peace pony
If you don't get the irony in your post versus your avatar, then you are as dumb as evo9. Why would I be pissed-off? Humor is a two, or three way street, ya' know. My phrasing and use of pronouns has little to do with my knowledge of a subject.
Save your intelligence for some one else. Talking to this guy is a waste of time. Look back on most of his post....
Oh, look, a caustic petty sniper remaining on this forum. I thought you had all disappeared. But, alas, some crud apparently is stuck on the side of the drain. A shame.

@Iamapony you genuinely seemed serious.

I'd appreciate if you'd not call me dumb but do what ya want.

You really need to comprehend what you are reading before you reply. Where was any of my last 3 post in reference to you?

But as you said; Oh, look, a caustic petty sniper remaining on this forum. I thought you had all disappeared. But, alas, some Turd apparently is stuck inside of the toilet. A shame.

See, it goes both ways

Here is the Honda fanboy again, the one who was commenting on his please seeing his beloved machine brightening the smile of Jorge Lorenzo, a pure happy face that had just found himself on the paradise of motogp machines at the end of preseason tests.

And now we are at this point in time, called reality, the one I defended and you strike me with violent opposition driven by your HRC satu "heart". But let me tell you, reality is a dimension where we truly live and the one where JLo haven't summed more than 12 points after 4 rounds yet, like I correctly foretold. But I'm was not supposed to do that since I'm a ........

If that is the kind of "intelligence" both of you need to save, I'd recommend the same. Save not only your intelligence but save us all from it.

Lorenzo has always been fast as hell or nowhere. Bradl and Nakagami beating him shows that. His time on the Ducati shows that. He suddenly clicked with it and then was as fast as anyone on the grid.

Right. (fixed that game rating) The bike has obviously improved, but it really is MM, isn't it? Honda has had chains falling off, shifter problem, etc. It is not a perfect machine, that is for sure.

Other Hondas finished: 8,9,10,12. Not exactly dominating, are they? The standings are similar after 4 races. It seems the thing making Honda look good is Marc Marquez.

Cal likely would've finished second in Argentina but for his jump start. He was very fast at Qatar (podium), and was harassing Rossi before he...behaved like Cal.

The Honda is pretty solid.

Naka ain't that good and he's getting solid results.

Marc is for sure a huge part of the success, but I think the Honda is very solid. Let's see how Cal, Naka and JL get on by the end of the year though...

Yeah I'm a Honda fan for sure. And yeah, I know what I said about Lorenzo and the RCV. Did you think I was going to deny it? Not hi on cocaine like you folks down there with selective memory.

I would be more happy if you provide me your absence.

Oh.. I have just been ironic, take it easy.

Will do.

And please, while I do, keep enlightening us with your lucid and mature racing/bikes/riders analyses, we all shall learn from.

Peace

Agree! If he does not start to make progress by August, he may be in trouble. He adapted to the Duc so he should be able to do the same on the RCV. The problem appears to be the new frame. For sure missing the preseason test due to injury is setting him back. Just like when he was on the Duc, we have these same folks saying he is done. But I'll wait to see like I did the last two years.

Please don't let that Muppet reduce your contribution. You have provided some very good insight here about the Italian riders.

On a side note. Was awesome to see Team Sic58 #1 & #2

He is not getting any younger, particularly with the injuries.

I am a Jorge fan, and think he was potentially faster than Dovi on the Ducati and capable of being a long term contender there, and definitely capable of being the fastest Yamaha rider, although the politics were perhaps completely untenable for him.

I don’t think anyone really is potentially faster than MM on a Honda, particularly not one designed around him. Stoner in 2011 (or 2007) mode might have made it interesting, but I don’t think he was capable of that sort of focus over the period of time MM has navigated the razor’s edge. I expect Jorge will work something out, but basically he needs MM to leave imo to have any chance of a further title.

@holypuck- I'll stand by my comment that the Honda is almost unrideable. They've struggled to develop at machine at all, Marc's amazing talent is very heavily leaned on, the engineers just get it roughly right and leave the rest to Marc.
No one else can do anything with it.

I know what it takes to make a rough bike get good lap times.. many have commented that Marc has a similar style to me on trackdays I've done....
I'm sure my times would be even better on a more rideable bike.

Tenacious as he is - I expect he's realistic enough to not have that expectation. Actually - other than Dovi - I think this is true for the rest of the grid. It's Mundialito all over again.

I agree Mike! I never believe he will take a title from Marc with both on the Honda. But I believe he will get better to be in the top 5, and win when the situation favors him. His input should also be very valuable to make the RCV more rounded.

The general value of the competitiveness of a bike is usually deductible from the amount of tracks (or type of tracks, for example very narrow ones for Ducati) on which the bike is weak. Honda does not have any tracks nor situations on which it's particularly weak.

Is just very, very much made for MM.

Marquez is among my favorite riders ever and I'm always eager to underline how ....... talented he is. I'm definitely not trying to belittle him.
