It's a shame Dovi could not start well to battle MM. Looking at the time table, he ran 1'38.068 at the 24th lap. For comparison, MM ran 1'38.051 at lap 15, where he told media he pushed to show his hand for opponents.

Dovizioso is Dovizioso, he always manages to make a .... somewhere, somehow, to get out of the title race. Don't know what the .... he was thinking about at the start when he decided to go off the line trying to get the lead, he should have positioned himself behind MM. At least he could make some pressure, maybe even pass and hold MM for some laps until fuel decreases and they could push.

Well, as predicted, satellite riders vanished as the lap count increased. I highly doubt Quartararo would keep the pace up for much of the time. Too bad his Yamaha breaked, I thought it was the best package, as our troll friend is typing here and there. Yes, only joking.

MM has another title in the bag. The pair bike + rider is unbeatable at least this first part of the season, I don't think Ducati will react in the time needed. As Rossi says, MM is destroying the sport, LoL. Btw, Domenicali told that MM was feeling the pressure. LoL... I think Claudio Domenicali has been one of the best crap talkers and dumbest CEO out there, always throwing ammunition to his opponents, for free.

Rins and Suzuki are doing great.
Congratulations for Vinales.
Rossi needs to qualify better.
Dovi is a chicken, never delivers when needed, always gets too late in the party. Will never be champion, better go fish with Stoner, it would form a nice pair of bottlers.
Petrux is getting better but that's is it, nothing incredible.

About, Lorenzo... well...he should sue Honda, that should indenize him. I'm talking serious. They hired him only to have one less race contender to compete with MM in some weekends, that was obvious for me. I knew since the beginning. MM knew it would be like that and so "allowed" JLo to be hired. Well, where is "the best bike" now? Not a single Honda in the near sight (top 7) besides MM. MM + Honda is much like Stoner + Ducati. I would like to see what Honda really is without a Marquez/Stoner.

About Ducati, it's time to reinvent a new package. That's the peak of Dalligna GP15 and will not get there, that's clear. Absurd lack of corner speed, it'll be impossible to be champion against MM with only acceleration. Time to send that L desmo to bin and start a new engine layout and bike project from the scratch. Currently Desmosedici iteration is showing signs of being in the top form and will not evolve significantly in corner. The problem is Dalligna seems tired and a bit frustrated, even more with Domenicali annoying the team with his loads of crap talking. Gigi is already talking about "Ducati can go well without me", something like that, so I'm feeling he will not be around for much time. Maybe he is tired of smoking Marlboro.

Hi!

I live in Northern Italy. Will ya provide me a bag of whatever you are smoking?

I don’t think a lot was revealed in the race that we didn’t know before. Marquez is in a league of his own and can only beat himself. Honda is nowhere without him despite having excellent talent on their bikes.
Rins is quick and legit.
Dovi and Ducati have weak tracks.
Quatararo is talented.
Rossi races better than he qualifies.

The only real surprise was Vinales’ early pace. If he can continue that he can challenge for wins easily. Its hard to have faith that this isn’t a one off though.

Even without my bias it’s hard to go past Marquez romping towards another championship this year. Between now and the end of the season the only races were Dovi should be favoured to beat Marquez are Austria, Brno and Mugello. 2 of those tracks Marquez goes well at while on Ducati’s and Dovi’s weaker tracks it’s not unreasonable to favour Rins and a Yamaha to beat Dovi across the line.
It could be a great showdown for #2 in the championship but it’s hard to imagine Marquez self destructing like he did in 2015.

I'd stay away from that ..... I think it's cut with strychnine. :p

I'm 28 and never smoked anything in my life. Always been strongly against it...and guess it's too late to start anyways. But if I had to, I'd go with something that'd send me straight to space, so at least I'd have stories to tell afterwards :D

So, this is why you have an avatar of some dude taking a heavy drag off a ...? The interwebz are/is so weird. Correction: the people on the interwebz are so weird. I should know - I am a pony.

I have seen conflicting reports on what the Petronas team is riding. Originally, it was suppose to be one tier two and one year old bike. The latest I have seen is that they both get current spec bikes. Anyone have a GOOD link to the truth?

Either way, I think it shows that the MovieStar team may not be as stellar as some would like. Either the kids are faster on the same equipment or faster on older equipment. Not good for Yamaha team one. Full disclosure, I have never been a MV fan, so I was actually surprised he even got a third. If not for a mechanical failure, would he have even had that show?

I really never spend time in discussions with addicted people. But I recommend you to get out of any little green in order to keep some cognitive skill so you can understand simple logical reasoning, and thus, we can engage some discussion. Right now you don't look like any capable.

The main problem of Ducati, Suzuki and Yamaha is a certain Spaniard called Marc Marquez.

The Honda is clearly one of the best bikes, with the best rider.

For Dovi, Rossi or Rins to beat him, they need to have some sort of equipment advantage - and that's hard when HRC are on their A game.

Right. (fixed that game rating) The bike has obviously improved, but it really is MM, isn't it? Honda has had chains falling off, shifter problem, etc. It is not a perfect machine, that is for sure.

Other Hondas finished: 8,9,10,12. Not exactly dominating, are they? The standings are similar after 4 races. It seems the thing making Honda look good is Marc Marquez.

At last some sense. Livio Suppo is quoted in an interview as saying HRC would be in real trouble without Marc.

If you don't know who the "dude" in my avatar is, it means you have very little knowledge of the history of motorcycle racing :D then again tho, you are a pony, so that's fine.

However I made a JOKE to gui just to state I disagree with several parts of that one post, thought we're all old enough to get it and certainly wasn't really trying to piss anyone off.

I am only happy to read a different opinion as this is a forum, if we all had the same thoughts it'd be cult set wouldn't it

Peace pony
