I heard one of the reasons would be that he apparently can not find a ride
Sucks to think a guy like Abraham (with all due respect to him) will have a ride and a guy like Pedrosa won't
That's probably not the reason, he can find a ride, just not one he wants to take. I know you qualified your opinion, I understand the sentiment, however it's not reflective of the GP reality of merit. Abraham is everyone's whipping boy, but consider he's always ridden a ...... bike, 3rd tier hand-me-down from the factories who benefit from the sale of equipment, and he's beat more well funded teams. Consider his rookie season where rookie of the year came down to the last round against Cal Cunthole, who was riding a Tech3 M1 versus Abraham on the then ..... version of Ducati. More importantly, this notion that ALL the riders aren't bought and paid for at some level is ........, the difference is Karel Abraham's is easier to spot, and at some level more honest. Speaking of Pedro, you don't think he kept his seat well beyond the merit date? Because isn't this the standard used to disparage Abraham? What about Pol Espargaro, Aleix Espargaro, Tito Robat, Xavier Simeon, before Alex Lowes. Hell, most of these guys came in without merit, Cuntslow won 2 home Wsbk races, that's it. Bradley Smith, granted he was on a ...... Tech3 Moto2 outfit, regardless, his results on their face were unimpressive. As nice as Hafizh is, what did he do to deserve a GP promotion? Etc.
Anyway, if Pedro retires that's on him. Regarding his accomplishments, put him on Stoner's trajectory, how many races does he win? Factor in the fact he was on best most funded shrewd factory bike 12 years, 3 champs lifted title, him, zero. He could take a less desirable seat somewhere. He's good enough, but maybe he's done. If so, I'm ok with it. The old Pedro was a jerk, the new Pedro I wish health. Bye.
