Given the amount of different winners we have had this year, i figure it could be anyones race.

Interesting in seeing who members think will take the next win.

I think Marquez will win. I don't see his team ....... up tyre choice 4 weeks in a row.

I think he is definitely due for a win. I just don't know if he will push to his limits for the win or just cruise home in a safe position to grab points if it ends up a tight battle.

He is definitely the most exciting rider to watch when he doesn't hold anything back.

MM is going to want to win at least one of the next 3 races as this is the start of the Honda circuit run. Let's not forget he crashed out last year in the opening laps, and I don't see him doing this again.

Extended forecast at Aragon looks to be sunny and to be around 30C/86F on raceday. We're still a week out so anything can change. But that's similar to Misano's weather. The winner is going to be riding either a factory Honda or Yamaha.

I think he will settle for points if he doesn't have the pace but if he can fight for the win we will see him go for it. He's lost points in the last 4 races he knows he needs to get some back.

It's been what tyres are available that's the issue, last week the front tyre most chose was the medium compound, that carcass wasn't stiff enough for MM's braking technique and wouldn't have lasted the race so he had to go with hard.

Be nice to see Maverick around about, to show his first win wasn't a fluke.
Can't wait to see the lad on the Yamaha...

I'm with you on that, I'd love to see Maverick take another win. He has been very competitive this year given he is on a Suzuki. I think he is going to be unstoppable on the M1 next year.

I'm a bit of a Suzuki fan so I'm also looking forward to seeing Ianonne wreaking havoc on it in his usual entertaining style. He loves braking into corners like a lunatic, corner entry is one of Suzuki's strong points so hopefully the combination works.

I'm a Yamaha fan first and foremost so I'm hoping Maverick is good on it straight away. Iannone could go well on the Suzuki especially if they find more power for next year, it's going to be different for him not having Ducati power catapulting him down the straights, let's not forget Rins too, he could be good.
I don't see JL being on it straight away as it'll be a big change after years on the M1, even though it would be good to see him up there. As far as I'm concerned the more riders and manufacturers fighting for the wins the better. If every race was as close as moto3 it would be amazing

I think this one will go to Lorenzo if it stays dry and sunny. Marquez will be on the podium, controling Rossi's pace.

Dani will be a strong contender if it's hot.

But at the end it will be down to tyre choice as it has been all year.

I just want Jorge to win to get confidence back :(

He sure has had a tough second half to the season. Going off previous races at Aragon I'm putting my bets on either Lorenzo or Marquez. Both of them are about due for a win.

True, although the tyres being designed for VR cannot truly be proven. The fact that Colin Edwards is a Yamaha/Michelin test rider who likes similar tyres to VR and is a long time friend of his could add or detract from the tyre conspiracy though.
Does Edwards recommend the tyres because he feels they're the best way to go, or does he recommend them because they'll suit VR?
I really couldn't say...

This has nothing to do with confidence, and everything to do with being given tires designed with his teammate in mind.

It is a bit odd that the moment it was announced Lorenzo was going to Ducati, he started going backwards on the Yamaha...

He was lapped FFS

I don't claim to have any of the technical knowhow or all the history - I like racing. I don't always get why Lorenzo gets such a hard time - he's been phenomenal. And who cares if he is a bit weird - I should think they probably all are. It takes a special kind of person to do what they do, imo.

Hey ho. I'm looking forward to the weekend. Looking forward to the racing.

If its 85 degrees and track temps over 110, Honda will suffer. I look for the Yamahas to dominate, with possibly a Ducati or Suzuki in between them and the Honda's. This could be the race where Marc looses 12 to 15 points of his lead. Of course with the tires being an absolute lottery, who knows. Will Dani try the softs again?. After he spoiled their best laid plans at Misano, does Michelin even bring softs this race.?

Even though he drove for Red Bull Racing in 2014, Sebastian Vettel was decisively outperformed by new teammate Daniel Ricciardo who scored 3 victories for RBR that year. A friend of mine in the know told me that long before it was ever a news item, Vettel had already had an agreement in place with Ferrari for 2015. He said that RBR was fully aware of it, and that Vettel pretty much spent the whole season being treated second to Daniel Ricciardo. He said his performance that year had nothing do with Vettel's ability, but the support he received from the team. This goes on quite a bit when someone is known to be heading to a new team the following year.

I'm under no illusions that while part of the issue Lorenzo faces are the Michelin tires, the other issue is simply that he being the outgoing rider, they are not giving him full support period.

its not a nice thing to hear about but it doesn't surprise me that some situations play out that way.

Its great to see Vinales still has the Suzuki team fully behind him, and that he is still trying his best for them in spite of leaving them next season.
