one thing a lot of you stoner fans have not taken into account is. Stoner was not in the lead, he had been passed by other riders so was slowing. Infact for several laps prior to the crash rossi was upto 2 secs a lap faster. Now tell me rossi was wrong to try and pass.
So what your saying is.....its the bikes fault today?
Quite possibly . As clint eastwood says and casey implies, a man's got to know his limitations, all the more so if he is a 350 time world champion or whatever.

I'm sure he said something like "was it the shoulder"....followed by "i guess the ambition outweighs the talent".
The whole exchange had the air of someone understandably upset lacking class.
You don't think he was being sarcastic? I think he was sarcastically implying that Rossi was going to blame the mistake on his shoulder. I agree though if Rossi was remotely sincere he should have taken off his helmet and gone to see Stoner privately.
No, because it would have been a legitimate pass in that eventuality.

Stoner does himself no favours again. He’s already one of the most disliked riders out there, so making childish, sarcastic comments to one of the most popular riders out there is only going to make him even more un-popular.
Quite possibly he was displaying the race craft you guys contend he lacks, knew simoncelli (and rossi) were going too fast as proved to be the case and was intending to make a move later in the race when his fuel load lightened as at qatar.
and that if he made it stick.. but it wasn't .. so yes...
it was Rossi's fault, he took Stoner out.. and blew away his chance to win

He went in too hot not because of any power/throttle problem....but because he was 3rd and had a rush of blood.

So motogp has become wwe wrestling/sports entertainment and only the popular guy should be allowed to win?; you guys can have the sport in that case , and are welcome to it.
