Round 14: 2016 Gran Premio Movistar de Aragón: MotorLand Aragón

Aleix just tried to switch off Marquezs bike during the practise start don't know if it was sour grapes from yesterday or plating around.

This is something that I reckon should be punishable or penalised as whilst it may seem like a bit of harmless fun, it does impact the rider who suffered and may stop their ability to complete that practice start (which may be part of their race routine).

If the bike cannot be restarted it also needs to then be collected and bought back which can have an impact on some of the readings (tyre temp) that may affect the rider as well.

.... I am a grinch :D

How big is Marc Marquez's chin, his Shoei cannot fully contain it. No wonder his chin was injured in his Mugello high speed crash.

Shoei should make a special add on under helmet chin encapsulator that connects to the bottom of the helmet to contain his commanding chin. It may catch on, Jay Leno would buy one.

Because I don't mind what he said.

If you want to be assured of no spoilers never login till you've seen the races.

Jesus ....... Christ. That stupid excuse again. I doesn't matter that you don't mind. Its a common courtesy rule that veteran members need to point out to newbs. The rule is no spoilers in the wrong thread.
The moto 3 race is 4am EST. Very few watchers fm the USA see the support races live.

I didn't know that rule, so thanks.

Which is why if I can't see an event live, I don't go near the internet till after I have watched the recording.

Whether or not everyone has watched the race immediately after it i over is not debatable so shut the .... up and move your posts to the moto3 thread.

I see you stole budoist thread style so you could change the way we do things. If you want to alienate all the people who haven't watched the smaller classes from this thread than cool thread nazi do you thing.

Hahahahahahahaha.

I wasn't even the one who posted anything about it. Since when the .... have I ever posted anything about the support race results in any race topic?

Serious here Dani (not criticising as i see this often) but why is the points differential a determining factor in whether a title race is enjoyable or not?

I understand that to many, if their rider is closer to the front it makes the title chase more enjoyable for them as a fan, but I struggle to see how it can determine overall enjoyment given that it a rider is 100 points in front it is because they had ridden that much better.

Besides, even when there are large points disparities the racing is still often sublime plus you always have battles in terms of championship placing throughout (top team mate, top rookie, the 2016 Mundialito etc).

One word: Anticlimactic.

Well Redding didn't waste any time crashing out.

Good way to fight for that 2017 GP17.
