I agree Dorna need to get some balls and censure him because this crap about last year is painful. I've argued loads on here about putting that to bed and todays interview pissed me off.
It's a shame that so many of his fans resort to name calling, to me they're not really into the sport just the person but he's in serious danger of ruining his own history.

I really respect the fact that you as a Rossi fan are able to see his flaws as a person. It's rare from my experience for Rossi fans to not be one eyes supporters.

Marquez was untouchable today. Great race for second although Rossi got a bit desperate and Lorenzo beat him in a straight fight. Good job Lorenzo didn't turn in as quick this week......hold on that might have been Rossis plan.

See pettrucci has resorted to his countrymans tactics of last year. He got a ride through so I assume it was worse than Rossi and Marquez last yr? Anyone seen it?

I really want to see the incident as well. I find it strange they haven't shown it but handed out an instant ride through so I would assume that there is footage of it.

Hey ......... Delete your post. You just spoiled the moto3 race in the wrong thread
You know, I almost did NOT delete my post because of you. Fortunately, I saw John Player Special's post first, so I immediately removed my mention of one person in another race. I did not post the winner of that race. And people claiming I ruined their entire day need to get a life, or stop making things up just to be nasty.

I don't go to sites that cover racing, if I don't want to know the results. I have behaved this way for over a decade. Thus it didn't even dawn on me that it was an issue here. I made an innocent mistake, but I don't even know who to apologize to, since the ones complaining are too obnoxious to deserve anything more than this post.

Im making hand gestures at rossi!

Can you elaborate further

Are they offensive hand gestures, welcoming hand gestures, road rage hand gestures or another?

It just dawned on me ....... no mention has been made of "foot gestures".

Does that mean rossi will be able to use "foot gestures" on Marc when he goes by?

Happy Feet gestures are allowed if dressed like a penguin

The scenes of the surroundings from the onboard cameras is amazing. It's beautiful countryside with a track that fits right into the surroundings. I recommend to everyone to make a trip to Motorland. There's magic in dem der rocks and them locals.

Bringing a tear to my eye being away right now

The wall (pun intended) rocks.

That is such a brilliant feature of the track and for me is similar to the shot along the straight and into oblivion at PI, a signature shot.

Jack Millers resting ugly face surely is offensive to other riders. I propose Jack must keep his lid on at all times, or face sanctions

How will he complete the next shoey with the helmet on?

My thoughts exactly. Dont go to a GP websight not wanting to know the results of a GP race. Some people just look for something to be offended by.

Careful Pov, some people will be offended by your generalisations

Dont fret on it pony .... at all. Even though I think the no spoilers crowd are just being very self centred ...... folk here do generally attempt to avoid spoilers. But in a freeflow discussion forum such as this it is ridiculous to expect folk to quell any fervent discussion which strays into other areas.

Again ...... if folk seriously dont want to know such closely related information to gp ...... WhyTF would you log on on that day?

I think the " no spoilers" crowd were all that spoiled kid with their fingers in their ears who dont want to hear any "real" comments.

Marc was untouchable today and had a half second in the bank, maybe more. With Pedrosa's problems today its hard to say that Honda has turned the corner, but easy to say Marquez is just that good. His abilities allow him to use the hardest tire option and not lose huge time early in the race. Motegi will tell if Honda is on par with the Yamaha. That is a Honda test track but Yamaha has owned it recently in the dry. Marc may take it easy at Motegi, then go for it again at PI as he is fairly dominant there even if his record doesnt show it. 2013, almost certain win taken away by black flag, 2014, huge lead and tossed it down the road, 2015 controlled the race till he had to go and there was no stopping him.If he can podium at Motegi, then win at PI, that will just about wrap up the title and let him race at Sepang and Valencia. Im guessing he would love to do something special at Sepang this year. I personally would like to see him close out the season by winning out, but i dont think the bike has it in it.

Redding not happy with his teammate action today

I'm still looking fot the video, someone must've seen something.

But IMO Petrucci should not have been riding today. Yesterday he said he remembers only 2 laps of 6 he did, he had now idea where he was after the accident, felt confused, has a headache and doesn't know if he'll be able to sleep at all. How was he cleared?
I mean, I'm only a vetenerian, not a "real doctor" but I know a concussion when I see one. And this one was not mild.

I didn't know all that but if true it's truely appalling and extremely negligent on race directions part. If Redding(or any other rider) was seriously hurt there would've been a serious case for massive compensation.

His own statements pre-race were pretty much text book definitional that he had suffered a concussion.

I don't know how they run the concussion testing in motogp, perhaps he some time later was completely clear of evidence of concussion and that met their current standard. I remember Stoner complaining that they outed him from a lower class race because he said his fingers tingled a little after a fall though. Certainly he shouldn't have been riding imo at the time he could remember only 2 out of 6 laps that he rode.

I really do like to watch the moto2 & 3 races unspoiled. But Im not getting up at 4:00am to watch them live on my sunday. I also enjoy talking about the motogp race live. I guess being able to have that for years on this forum was good enough. I can avoid this site during the race if its that hard to follow direction.

From what I read briefly, Petrucci never should have been racing this weekend after that happened. It sounds like whoever handles their concussion protocol dropped the ball completely on this.

I dont know how hed even ride with a serious concussion.

Some may argue that I have been concussed a few too many times but .... meh .....

when I am concussed I have trouble staying in a swaying bed ..... and all I see, smell, vomit, hear and live .... is egg yolks ..... yes egg yolks ..... everything is runny and yellow ..... including vomit.

How you would get on a gp bike is beyond me.

It is definitely true (as reported) - Danilo Petrucci suffered memory loss after MotoGP Aragon crash - MotoGP - Autosport

"The problem is that I don't remember at all," he told BT Sport.

"I was going out of the pits and when I was looking at who was coming from the track, I saw Pol's bike coming and then [it was] a big crash.

"At that moment I was conscious, but I did not remember where I was and I said 'look, I'm OK, I'm standing and my bones are altogether'.

"So I came back to the pits, but when I went out I didn't remember where I was, I didn't remember the next time where [the crash was] and I was quite scared.

"I did six laps this morning and I did not remember I think, four-and-a-half of them.

"So I'm quite sad of this [but otherwise] everything is good in my head."

Should never have been on the track (IMO)

He didn't look good after the crash when they showed him in his. Pit he at the very least looked shook up but now this has come to light it was certainly clear he was not all there at the time.

Why do riders who crash stand up and hold their hands out like they expect sympathy or imitating they don't know what happened? It's so dramatic.

You crashed, it's simple.
