CASEY: That was DJ Kaled and Cal Crutchlow coming in at number 1 with their hit single, "All I Do Is Win". Crutchlow will have a chance for more winning this weekend, more more mixed weather in the forecast. He'll be looking to take another gamble and hoping that it pays off again.

CASEY: Speaking of gambling, coming in at number two on the countdown is legendary country artist Kenny Rogers. As the story goes, this collaboration resulted from the deep and unlikely admiration of both artists work on an evening when both men were relaxing in the paddock after practice. CASEY: That was was Kenny Rogers featuring reigning champion Jorge Lorenzo with, "The Gambler." Lorenzo was gambling hard in the Czech Republic and looks to be on track to gamble again this weekend. Bad weather has not been kind to the champ, but he's trying to keep up his good spirits and fight to the front again. If he can get out of his own head and not throw a snake eyes this weekend, we might just see the Lorenzo of old come out.

If conditions permit I am expecting the first MotoGP sub two minute lap of Silverstone. Last year, Márquez's spectacular pole came in at 2m 00.234 the closest being Lorenzo at 2m 00.522.

Although at 3.67 miles, Silverstone is almost double the length of Donington Park, just as Craner curves is pivotal to a fast lap time, I'd say smoothness and momentum through the Maggots, Becketts, Chapel section is essential to a fast lap.

I like to get high in the stands at Club during at least one qualifying practice session. The bump into Stowe and the spin that the exit generates, together with the hard braking into the rucked up, slippery Vale betray much about shortcomings in set up. Last year the Suzuki's and Yam's cruised effortlessly through this section, but it was palpable even to the most casual observer what a handful the Hondas were.

Woodcote is a terrifying corner of old - a 'big balls blind corner' as Scott likes to call it. I used to wince at the proximity of the armco here and the feeble hay bales deployed as conciliatory 'protection'. Márquez's exit for his pole last season was the culmination of one of the most extraordinary qualifying laps I've ever seen on a motorcycle...that is until Brno this year.

The next 12 days will decide the championship. With another back to back coming up, if Marquez holds serve, the title is his. If he loses 20 or more points over the next 2 races, i think it goes to the wire. Silverstone has been good to him though and the new Honda is much better on the flowing tracks than years past. Its also going to be cool which the Honda demands. If its a dry race, look for Marquez to try and deliver a knockout for the 2016 title. A win here and he can come home 3rd the rest of the season no matter what JL or VR does.

It appears that starting time is 2 1/2 hours later than usual, whats up?. F1 conflict or something.

Yeah it's the monza gp , was thinking about going but leaving the track after the racing finishes will be traffic jam city.

It'll be the whole attendance leaving at the same time, usually it's staggered as the moto GP race is not the last one, which way I think it is this time.

Well...at least his smashing reputation is in tact.

Moto3 was last of the three followed by support races last year, including red bull rookies.
None of that this year. Think as soon as motogp's are done it's kicking out time.
Not only has the date had to change due to the Bernie ecclestone road show but now so does the time.

My first guesses:
MM won't throw away a 2nd this year. He could even win.
CC will go back to normal, even if it pours rain. He will miss the last checkered.
SR will show he needs better equipment.
JL will find dry track and beat another Yamaha.
VR will not be happy with someone, even if he beats them.
AD will finish ahead of AI.

Local forecast. Rain all weekend

My prediction: Rossi wins, Marquez and Lorenzo crash into each other right before they come at the finish line, Ianone and Dovizioso crash into each other at the pit lane.
