What amused me was Jorge heading into Parc-Ferme by mistake then cursing in his lid as he was humiliatingly wheeled back to his garage after stalling it, (which he promptly stormed out the back of). The ignominy won't help matters.

The front end chatter through turn 12 affecting the Honda is terrifying - anyone see Dani in FP3? The Zook in contrast is settled. Marc was very lucky with that save.

Perfect reply from Vale - you really wonder why he doesn't save his talking for the racetrack. He was painfully undignified this weekend.

Be interesting to see if Joe is as willing to be Rossi's whipping boy tomorrow.Sad to see that two opposing teams can collaborate in the interest of a title protagonist when earlier Danny Kent was ...... over in comparison.

Dude,

Seriously I think you need to find another sport to follow, because clearly you are really, really ...... up when it comes to Rossi, Dorna, Marc etc etc.
I think you would be much happier doing something else, because the odd time I come here now reading your .... is actually depressing and I feel sorry for you, go and play with your kids, enjoy the outdoors, maybe fishing?

Honestly I'm concerned for your well-being, someone shouldn't hate this much. Why do you watch the sport? Clearly anytime you see Rossi your blood must boil and its pretty hard to miss him whilst watching motogp.

This is just another dick around from VR, he's having a go and its created quite a storm. Jorge crapped on about bad luck costing him the title, Rossi is now having a go at Marc, its great! Drama buddy, lap it up and enjoy it-only I think you can't, time to lighten up bud and move on.

Nickys going to WSBK-maybe you might enjoy it over there a little more-forget Valentino Rossi-he's not worth it, they guy does not give the slightest flying .... about you or most of the others like us those who post dribble on forums and social media-as he said in the press conference today also.

I'm a bit concerned about Jumkie as well... We may have to send the poor boy some help.

It will be even more comforting when he sees that Stoner is driving.

Well...hate the be the bearer of whine news, but...

View attachment 11364

For me, I'm astonished how this grotesque whine has played out and more fascinating is how he's not only got a pass, but rather its been perceived as this mastermind gamesmanship (frankly in all the years I've been watching I cannot remember anything similar, Arrabi has been eerily silent, but I'd wonder if he remembers anything like this).

Vale has said that it was easier to race Biaggi because they never his their contempt for each other and therefore they knew where each other stood. The implication being that Marc is duplicitous in nature. Whatever you may level at Marquez, this is clearly an absurd allegation particularly coming from one as historically disingenuous as Valentino Rossi.

The bickering between Schwantz and Rainey was quite painful at times but again they hated each other as rivals on and off track so they had no qualms about airing their smalls. Phil Read was always a knob - but I don't think this or much from memory is comparable because here we have a highly intelligent rider, perhaps the most cerebral racer in history acting like a petulant and irrational child. And no, this time there wasn't a master plan but as usual Rossi will very likely emerge from the .... storm smelling of roses.

Pedrosa is the wild card though as he may decide to play but he is not really that type. If he gets a holeshot and lead, then he will try to stay there which may be an issue for the following riders but I do not expect that he will cause anyone grief, he never has so why start now although it is possible that he will steal places, I have not seen enough as yet.

Uhhh...Nicky Hayden says "Hello."

This may or may not happen but in either case, it will not happen in a vacuum. There will be other riders in the mix early on. I expect Lorenzo to have better early pace. I don't see Rossi getting out front early and getting away. Marc and Dani will certainly be strong in the early going. Crutch may even play a role. Then there's Iannone. If the two Yam's find themselves alone to race this out, it will prove to be highly entertaining and I'd expect some touching and controversy.

I'm saying my prayers.:)

Jesus, I go to bed then 10 pages happen! I've only had time to skim through it this morning, will most likely read them in full on Monday but yeah, this forum sure is dead...

After two years of deadly boring weekends watching MM walk away with everything - we're rewarded by the best season in a decade (at least) and there's no doubt that the excitement of this season has brought this and all other forums to a roiling boil.;)

The question in the back of my mind all season has been, will Suzuki's engineers be able to reproduce that kind of handling if they find the 20 HP they're missing?

Waited a minute or two after watching quali to let my joints un-tense. Whew!!! Don't know about a mele at turn one. I reckon Rossi and Lorenzo will not do anything stupid. Rossi beating Lorenzo for the last position on the first row - will do more psychological damage than anything. You could feel Lorenzo's heart drop into his stomach when they waived him away from the Parc Ferme entrance like a Saturday night skank with runny make-up being denied entrance by the fat bouncer at a posh disco.

Me.... I envision Dani trying to take off on the first lap to run away and MM following him around close behind to conserve his tires and see what lines Dani is taking, while Lorenzo zips past Rossi into 3rd and being sandwiched between the Honda in front and Rossi and Iannone close behind, with Crutchlow trying his best to stay in touch hoping to keep that snappy Castrol livery nice and shiny.

All in all, I see the two Hondas staying in front (assuming they do) as a positive for Rossi as it means there are less points to lose should Lorenzo take 3rd and Rossi 4th; which gives birth to my first conspiracy.... Rossi wants to piss off MM so much that he's even more motivated to win and minimize any points advantage Lorenzo might gain by finishing in front of Rossi. Meanwhile, Rossi is colluding with his fellow Paisan, in order to get him to block Lorenzo whenever possible so Rossi can get by - in exchange for Rossi putting in a good word with Yamaha to get Iaanone the next open seat on Yamaha, Jum - got any extra tinfoil hats you can spare?

BTW - is that morning mist we're seeing? Or is it still the smoke from fires across the water?

Prediction.... record breaking crowds at Valencia and not a few strokes and exploding heads. If Rossi wins, Boppers will be stroking their "heads". My God! They'll be even more insufferable.

Comparison from MotoGP on Facebook of JL and MM taking the same corner.

Very cool stuff.

Nice find. People always talk about how the Yamaha riders and Lorenzo in particular make up for a seeming deficiency in top speed by carrying more speed through the corners. Yet it very much appeared that MM was carrying the same amount of speed (yes - I know - it's in slow-mo) while holding a miraculously tighter line. I wish there were an official analysis of which rider was carrying more speed through that turn.

Yes, very cool and great to see the comparison of the lines and the lean that each uses on the same corner. But, with the that said, not sure speed can be compared. Very difficult for detect .005 of a second by eye.

Regardless, still cool.

He looks like the grinch.
More accurately, he looks like the collective face of boppers right now. Poor Talps about to blow a fuse and compelling early returns from their hiatus like Thumpa.

Rossi needs you guys.
