EXTERIOR: Panoramic view of a rustic village set in the countryside. Moonlight bathes the huts set in a clearing of trees. Soft smoke wistfully rises from chimneys as candlelit windows throw dancing shadows on the streets. Music wafts in the breeze. A storm brews on the distant horizon.

INTERIOR: A rustic tavern, filled with rustic people. Most of the light comes from the stone fireplace, supplemented by candles strewn throughout the room. Serving wenches move through the room with tankards of ale. A minstrel band plays in the background.

VILLAGER 1: (From the fireplaces) It's not right I tell ya. The whole thing's not right.

WENCH: (Handing him another tankard) Oh leave off. Have yourself another and let it go.

VILLAGER 1: (Loudly) I tell ya woman, it's not natural! (Music dies down) And you all know it!

VILLAGER 2: (Laughing nervously) What is it we know, eh?

VILLAGER 1: (Pauses) The women laugh when they're supposed to cry. Our men grow weak when they should be strong. (Looks around expectantly) The rains, (hushed) they come when not due. (Looks into a shadowy corner) Ask him, if you have a ken.

(The crowd turns to look)

LORENZO: (From the shadows) Aye, he speaks the truth.

WENCH: Don't encourage him.

LORENZO: (Firmly) He speaks truth. Track the weather I did, 2 fortnights ago. Clear were the skies, with no rain to be had. Then just as I took to the track it came. Right when I stood on the edge of destiny it came. (Quitely) My ruin. (Louder) Then again, just yesterday it came again to foil my plans! (Slams mug on table) And it will come again this weekend, I can feel it in me bones!

VILLAGER 2: Sorcery!

LORENZO: Aye, indeed! 2nd I came on The Island in 2012, then first in '13. Only to be scrubbed in 14 to second place by... him. I'll not stand for it this weekend.

WENCH: But what can we do?

LORENZO: We must put an end to this madness. We must storm the castle!

CROWD: (Tentatively) Aye.

LORENZO: We must burn it to the ground!

CROWD: (Loudly) Aye!

LORENZO: We must take what's ours!

CROWD: (Shouting) Aye!

EXTERIOR: Rocky, windswept hillside. A castle stands out against the backdrop of the night sky. Lightning flashes illuminate the balustrades as the storm gets closer. In distance a train of lights begins to snake its way from the village.

INTERIOR: Stone block laboratory. Electric arcs flash from Tesla coils placed around the room. Two men stand hunched over a bloodied operating table.

ROSSI: Quickly Igor, it's almost time. The heart, I must have the heart!

IGOR: Yes, master. (Shuffles to adjacent tray and retrieves a jar)

ROSSI: The heart of a hero. Just what I needed. (Removes bloody appendage) I won at The Island last year Igor, after coming 3rd in 2013 and 7th in 2012. (Thrusts organ into exposed chest cavity of the lifeless cadaver) But this weekend, we take no chances. Cables Igor!

IGOR: Yes, master.

ROSSI: (Attaching clamps to cadaver's nipples) We might not clinch the championship this weekend, but with my servant unleashed we will put fear into the hearts of my enemies. (Banging of the door)

LORENZO: (Muffled) Open the door Rossi, or we'll break it down! You'll make no monsters tonight!

ROSSI: (Running to machines) Quickly Igor, the switch. Throw the switch.

IGOR: Yes, master.

ROSSI: (Jubilant) It begins! (Lightning crashes; bright light courses down the cables; the body stirs) Yes, rise Dani. Rise!

PEDROSA: Uuugggn. UUUGGGNNN!

ROSSI: It lives! My championship hope lives!

Rossi was fast in Japan in the dry so at PI he will just as quick as JLo....

I still think Rossi will win....I think that honor will go to Dani or MM, followed by Rossi and Lorenzo....the order of Rossi and JLo wont matter since the top two spots will be taken already....and anything other than a win for JLo means the PI round goes to Rossi....

The Ducati's will look good here, but as usual they will fall off the pace as the race progresses.....Iannone to be top Ducati again....

It should be another great one....

Y? This year's championship is the most exciting of the past decade. Easily!
You didn't turn ... when you're first girl left you right? We (the master race of gp fans=stoner boners) all miss him but that's no reason to get into rugby or whatever bs . Go to the track, sit back, roll one up and send pics

.... me... this year my calendar is clear and I could go - but man, I have seen some miserable weather there that I wouldn't want to get stuck in. Really torn, this could be the best race of the season. I wonder if Andy Roo will be there.

Go Rossi!

Kesh, seriously if you wanna top BMs traffic phobia I'll join the gang. Go book your flight already! I never heard from roo again. Hope he's fine

Just looked it up on Expedia, Lowest 1 stop flight is $2,364 .04. A bit steep, as I just spent a not so small fortune building my new workshop. I really think there needs to be an expedition there tho. Would love to show up at Barry's and see his sheep.:p Actually - he and I have emailed back and forth years ago and the guy is an incredibly talented instrument maker. He makes custom violins that are totally museum worthy.

Been in touch with Andy not so long ago. The guy is 100% balls and 100% heart. Having a rough time of it. Got his snail mail address somewheres if I can find it.
