Gazzy boy we laid this argument to bed. But I do have one question for you. There is a tin foil hat theory going around that Dani's surgery was not arm pump surgery but rather he stole one of Stoners balls out of Adriana's purse and had it attached where is raisin used to be. What do you think fact or fiction? I think its a little silly personally.[/QUOT
The conspiracy theory is clearly fanciful. Adrianna is only a slight girl, and would obviously require a wheelbarrow if she wished to transport Stoner's testicles in a non- domestic situation.

Hahaha

It may not have been all smooth sailing up front of this pic is any indication, although there is no commentary as to when it occurred (ie. during the race or after)

Jorge is a ...., I mean really-he is a ..... Great rider but his post race stuff when he wins is just awful to watch-the shark fin thing was ultimate cringe.

And I note Kropo didn't mention too much about Jorge's luck at Aragon, once again he was the luckiest rider in the grid, Rain at Silverstone and Misano had nothing on Marc Crashing for a 5th time this season and one Dani Pedrosa riding the best race of his Motogp Career-this must go down as lotto winning odds.

What is also odd it what appears to be another large miscalculation from Rossi and his team. Once he got past Iannone he closed the fair gap hit the tail of Pedrosa in 2 or 3 corners and then sat there way too long-seems as though tyre wear may have been on his mind as he looked to have the pace on him-particularly that last ditch pass onto the back straight, that was almost an impossible move yet somehow he kept it on the track-only to be passed again by the ....../unsorted, horrible, absolute rocket RCV.....

We're back onto Rossi being beaten by rocketships again. If the Honda was the only reason Rossi was beaten by Pedrosa, why did Lorenzo beat him?

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Jesus christ, let me break this comedy gold down:

1. So Jorge is a .... for his post race celebrations. Does that make Rossi an even bigger .... for wasting energy on fancy helmets when he isn't even winning, and for the VERY SAME post race celebrations when he does? What about all that .... in 08 when Rossi won the championship and had some god awful setup of him signing some documents on a desk with some bloke dressed as a lawyer?

2. Again, when Rossi wins, it's because he's the GOAT. When Lorenzo wins, it's because he's 'Lucky'. Well then that makes Rossi at Silverstone lucky x 2 because he got the rain when he was nowhere in the dry and then MM crashed out exactly the same as he did while in 2nd at Aragon. In Misano he again got rain, totally ...... up his strategy but still managed to come out with a handful of points while his main rival crashed. I'd put THOSE as lotto winning odds...

3. The only miscalculation by Rossi (not his team, lets clear that up) was that he arrogantly assumed Pedrosa would be a walkover so waited until late in the race to make his move. He knew he'd never match Lorenzo this weekend but he vastly underestimated Pedrosa.

True Rossi dedication right there....

It's well known in MotoGP that Dani is the best at getting the bike picked up and on the power early, Rossi couldn't make his passes stick to block him.

Agree on your first two points, but this one is wrong. The Hondas were not consuming their tires as fast as the Yamahas (confirmed by Suppo after the race), and Rossi knew that if he used his tires to pass Pedrosa early (he had a slightly better pace mid-race) then Pedro would catch up with him again in the last laps, and he wouldn't be able to respond. That's why he waited trying to preserve his tires and attacked in the last 5 laps. But Pedro put up the fight of his life, his Honda seconded him well, and won. Bravo Pedro -- That's all.

But J4, we are always being told (not by you) that Rossi plays up to the crowd and slows down to 'race' with others to make it more entertaining as he wants to look after the crown and ensure they are entertained. You know, not like those other upstarts who like to get in front and stay there to win.

Following on from Arrab's retort to this, I had to look some more:

That was before 2007, mate, when Rossi enjoyed some margin. Now it's a different game and others have margin on him... he's super practical now. This said, I think that last hopeless pass at the chicane was made just to entertain.

Late to the party. Great performance by Lorenzo. Doesnt matter, still VRs title to lose.

MM adds a level of uncertainty for both Lorenzo and VR.
Ha! You have a nack for understatement my friend. When, since others have raced with Marc (or practiced, or even when practice was over) was this not true? Hahaha

Edit to add: ^ in normal conditions I would have said: thank you captain obvious...with all do respect of course. ;)
