BTW, Rossiofsky, are you happy now? Its turned into a long thread; albeit from certain members trying to deflect attention from what should have been the focus of the new champ.

First of all Chops said he was held up "2 seconds". Not sure how that could be calculated on the fly, but ok. Second, a rider claiming he got held up on the first lap jockey for positions is common. Falling in line then passing if you really are faster is not uncommon. Thirdly, because he claimed this cost him the race, it therefore must be true? Ok, what about the claims of other riders? Particularly about this race, are they true too? Or is just one rider allowed to claim the truth?

Rossi's race pace easily matched and was at times faster than the leading 2 once he got past Lorenzo, Sure lorenzo managed to hang on to rossi's shirt tails once he was past but when he was in third in the earlier part of the race the front 2 gained some distance. What does that tell you compa ? Watch the race again !

Well not being a racer myself i can only guess but i thought that's what pit boards were for. Plus i dare say they have timing instruments on the bike ? im only saying what i saw and quoting what i heard !

You have routinely stuck your foot in mouth and have said some outrageous things (I don't think I need to remind you) yet you've still had the bliss of sticking around as if it never happened. Not at all, you've behaved worse than usual this last week. Seemingly out of control and "seeing" all sorts of things. Rossi did set the fastest lap of the race (so far) just after he passed Lorenzo. You know the red helmets? And the following laps were faster than the leading duo. That tells me that he had some weight behind the words. That doesn't mean that anything was wrong with the situation as it was. It's his responsibility to get the start right, to pass others and so on, but when they are team members the other slower rider might consider to let him trough. Payback later in the race? I guess so.



As for the rest I guess your compa Roger explain things as they were.

I guess it depends on what floats your boat, but I would imagine most on this (fan ) forum would rate a rider's championship above a pop hit, and it is precisely because winning even one of them is such a significant achievement that winning 7 (or 9) as rossi has done is so outstanding, so again I don't understand your argument .



Since you have diverted to pop culture, I have to say I don't get your continual "slave" and "mr garrison" references, doubtless due to excessive age and lack of hipness, so there is probably a whole level of subtlety in your posts which eludes me.

I dont know what you are exactly talking about, firstly i talked about Rock music and though my example and the words could mean/look a bit cheeky, i wasn't comparing the Singers with the riders. secondly, i dont remember ever to have compared a win with a championship, or to say Rossi is the only good rider and the things you have mentioned.

about " 7 (or 9)" , this doesn't tell me anything at all, if it's the number of Lorenzo wins, I haven't said anything lately about these subjects. that's what i mean i didn't get your point.

Yes Chopperman, I heard Rossi say he was held up fighting with Lorenzo..Rossi said he cost me the race and could have been fighting for the lead but the gap to the leaders opened up trying to overtake Lorenzo. He didn't have the tyre to make up the gap

I,m not exactly happy mr Garrison, i got a few opinions that were worth it. i liked to see more comments about all the things that happened in the race. but anyway i thought with my comment, more people will get involved.



No one is trying to deflect attention from Lorenzo, it's that you cant see we enjoy Rossi wins, otherwise we haven't said anything against Lorenzo, we only have focused more on our favorite rider who has won a race after a long time coming from his first injury. The championship for me was decided a few races ago, so it was just the matter of time. and again no one has asked you not to enjoy your time with Lorenzo.



afterall this thread was already dead when i Found it. and i was Wondered why that was so, especially after a gp where Lorenzo became the new champ and Rossi won his first gp after his crash and with Simoch's fault and good performance of Spies. Atleast i mentioned these subjects.

Yes i have brought it up, but on the first comment of page 8 i already said this to know Especially your opinion about it.

here is that comment, "It happened enough in this race to talk about, with Rossi winning from 11th and Horhay winning his first championship, and the other things like Simochelli's riding into Aoyama (why dont you hater's call for Dorna now, oh he wasn't Rossi), and a good performance from Spies, and ...
