Maybe it’s strange that Aprilia would keep him for 6 seasons.
I'm guessing 2 reasons:
1. It;s been good for Aprilia to have consistency, especially with an experienced rider
2. I doubt many riders in MotoGP were interested in that seat, hell even rookies have continually turned it down.
I remember Crutchlow was scathing Aprilia for their treatment of Redding, then nearly signed with them in 2020..!
