I would be surprised if Marc wasn't giggling at the bike being fast but difficult for his fellow team members. It not only prevents them threatening his points tally, but also overwhelmingly establishes his supremacy within the team. He only has the other teams and riders to worry about.

Agreed, tho, if he is in fact thinking about beating Rossi or Ago's record, he needs to be taking into account preservation of his arms and legs. A more rider friendly bike, theoretically, would allow him to be competitive with decreased risk taking. During the last half of the 2019 season, it was looking like the Fabs was going to be a big threat this year, but, we're seeing that he's just not consistent enough (at least not yet). If the Suzukis continue on their current trajectory, they're going to be a bigger threat in 21. Tho I reckon if MM remains fit and manages to stay on the bike, he'll take another championship, tho if he's smart, by a smaller margin, not trying to win 3 races before the conclusion of the season.
