Estoril, practice and qualifying.

"Hissy fit" is when one complains when nothing actually happened, unlike for most of the incidents in this session, where the incidents were actually clear. Most by CRTs, and one by Barbera. Looked very frustrating for the top riders.

1++ Weird session.

Isn't it time for Randy to give it up? Sure he is fast on a few laps or so but it isn't like he is doing anything but crashing over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and.....

.... take by you. (as usual)

Not to mention Barbera getting in the way looking for tows.

CRTs were even balking eachother. Did you see Pissini on Pirro (I think it was).

This what I was expecting from CRT's from the very beginning - spoiling fun for everyone. And Barbara is a joke

You don't think stoner actually was baulked (inadvertently by nicky in the incident I don't defend) most of the times he got pissed off?

Ffs I saw Spies get balked 4 times on fast laps. Then Pedro gave him.the wtf wave at the end?.. Spies needs to stop trying to be twitter buddy mates with all these mother ..... and start handing out black eyes and fat lips.

Set up an octagon out in the back paddock. Pedro vs Spies first matchup.

No. I don't think Nicky baulked him at Silverstone. Stoner has had good reason to be pissed off at most incidents, the one at Silverstone was not one of them. According to Stoner it happened in the corner going into the straight. I've watched it several times, and I think Casey imagined it out of frustration during that moment. So I'm not sure the characterization of the complains today as "hissy fit" was descriptive for the usually when there is a weak reason to be pissed off, most baulking today was clear. It would be like describing Stoner's reasonable reaction to DePuniet's parking on the track as a "hissy fit".

I think back on that race at Laguna when Colin flew past teammate Rossi and took 2nd on the podium and look at his slow but sure decline in performance since then and think to myself - why the .... didn't he get out while his name was still good. What the .... is he doing wasting his time on a ...... CRT? You see him in the pits and he always looks angry. Clearly he's miserable. If not WSBK - then he should be home on the range. He don't need the money and he sure ain't having fun.

YEah OK, it isn't like the guy ever does anything in the way of say...finishing a race, let alone a race win or podium. So how is it a "...." take? How can anyone refute the fact that the dude just crashes more than anything. If motoGP wants to reduce costs then it would pay them to get rid of randy and save all that money from the crashed bikes.

Sure, I actually never saw the nicky incident, my understanding was that nicky was going slowly, but because he was on an outlap and on a ducati and not a VTOL aircraft. My attitude has always been that stoner should have shown nicky respect regardless, because of their past relationship particularly as team-mates and because of both nicky's character and achievements.

I'm not sure I agree buddy. He has always been respected for his development skills. His name has actually increased in respect going to a CRT, as he has helped the team get the bike sorted. Kropo described it this way (paraphrasing) 'Colin has been well worth his salary to his team.' If the CRT is the future, who better than a respected and hard working guy than Colin to be on board giving theme direction? He is also a good measuring stick, alone with Depuniet, to judge the progress of CRTs against the "prototypes".

Agree.

Not sure why you wanted to rehash that old incident. I think its well and over and both guys have accepted it and moved on. Heat of battle type stuff me thinks. Now, you know, there is a Kentucky Derby going on in Nicky's home state this weekend. I wonder if Nicky might get a better race result if he was riding one of those horses in the GP race tomorrow? Did you see the smoke coming off his bike down the end of the straight? WTF

I agree with Jums on this. Also Kropo recently said when it comes time to work in the pits Collie would as soon shoot you as talk to you... that would account for the angry look!

I was being a dog in the manger about different attitudes to stoner getting stroppy than others. I actually never thought the reaction to the practice incidents was a good look whatever the provocation, or at all productive, but he seems to have calmed down about the issue anyway which is unequivocally a good thing.
