I just saw a red Ducati screaming and shaking on the track, looked like a flashback of Stoner for a moment, but it was Rossi... clocking a very decent lap time btw. I'd call that promising.
And Simoncelli besting Stoner at the last lap... Outstanding. The boy is ready (and obviously that Honda is good!). Where are now all the forum gurus who, last year, were snobbing Simoncelli saying he would never make it in MotoGP and blah blah?Let me have a good laugh and remind them, "I told you".
visualy rossi seems to be pushing harder on the bike, i know its early into the weekend but does look promising.
simo da ball should be on dovi's ride, i know both bikes are factory machines but still i think he should be on the repsol.
dani in 3rd .465 of a second clear of rossi but i think the race would be a disaster 4 him from the midway

Rossi's running often wide in that slow hairpin, looks like he can't keep the bike on the right line. He does try hard though...

it seemed like repeat of 2006 for a while but Elias catches a tow off Rossi, takes half a second off his lap time, made it to 14th

hmmm furball with fastest time early but ran in 38s after...pedbot with loads of laps in the 37s
Before I jump to conclusions, can someone please tell me why stoner was equal to Rossi. Moved house last weekend and don't yet have my motogp.com subscription back.

Respectable times by rossi, as well as up with the field, not far off best times of previous years already ( I think 2010 was never completely dry) unlike the first 2 races.
why did stoner look back at rossi and start patting the back of his repsol? was he telling rossi to follow him?
Rossi and Stoner have exactly the same time, why did Rossi got the advantage? Does it have with their second fastest laps?
