<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (SuperShinya56 @ Jun 28 2009, 08:42 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Don't know the situation with Casey Stoner.... but he did look like a sourpuss during the podium celebration. Maybe he was sick or mabye he was pissed off at his team for not giving him a competitive bike and so rather than appear to be a whiney little kid during the interview....he opted instead to skip it.

Great race by Rossi...... Lorenzo needs to up his game if he wants to beat Rossi for the championship this year. Lorenzo's got the speed, but I think he lacks in the braking department, he needs to be more aggressive on the brakes.

BTW, Aoyoma is the real deal... don't hate on the Japanese rider.

IF the dude is sick with a flu virus or some sort of parasite he could be feeling the effects for quite a long time unless he has the proper time to recover. He is traveling and doing work so much that the body has a very hard time to make a recovery. If anyone understands what a flu can do you would be very careful not to overdo it. I think Casey as soon as he recovers properly he will be just fine. He should be drinking some gatorade.

As for Aoyoma he sucks just like ...... nocando. The only Jap rider today worth anything is Haga.

Even Sete turned up to the press conferences and post race interviews (forget where) with the flu - anyone remember?

I concede, the purpose of doing so was largely to milk it - drama queen that he was.
<

Fortunately, he had to look so miserable the entire weekend that the 'Ola's' and No.74 gestures to the sky were relegated to the past for at least one meeting!

i remember that...cant recall when but i remember him saying that the flu was hell but once he got on the bike he was able to put it past him.

Everytime someone makes a post, it creates a query (INSERT INTO posts (title, content, poster, datetime) VALUES ('".$_POST['title']."') " etc

This is executed which uses up memory on the server. It wont be a significent amount and it was only a joke - 1post = about 10kb.

The database is probably 500mb.
inc or plus the mirror ? i must owe poor ben quite a bit by now then

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Bunyip @ Jun 27 2009, 07:25 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>What the hell is wrong with Stoner?? Jazcat could be on the money as he seems worse on race day.

I think he puts too much pressure on himself and needs to try to "Lighten up a bit". I thought it was poor form not to attend the post race interviews as it was significant for Rossi, and Stoners absence took a bit away from that. Maybe he was that bad, but if not , he has some explaining to do. His behaviour at Laguna seca last year lost a lot of aussie fans. Maybe I,m being harsh but clearly there is something not quite right in Caseys head. I think he is pure genius as a rider, but is maybe losing balance in his life. We all need him back on track to have a more interesting 3 way title fight, otherwise the championship becomes a Yamaha benefit. Does anybody want that?

You sound like Roger (except for the 'stoner is a genius' part).

Geez people, the ....... guy is sick. It happens. I don't go analyzing my life when I get the stomach flu or whatever the hell he's got. Jesus H Christ, can we let the guy be sick and send him to a medical doctor before we wend him to a psychologist?

Agree with your assessment on interview absence though.

The database will only be hosted on one - it depends whats actually running httpd (apache usually) which is the main host computer.

MySQL database doesnt store much of the site - eg the logo and web pages, they are all stored on the ftp server.

Well to his credit, he did show up at Catalunya interview looking like one foot in the grave. But yeah, this one was way too important to miss.

These interviews drag on though. I remember looking into a press room at Laguna last year, geez, no some where you want to be if you got the runs or whatever crap Stoner has.

so ??
Your saying our forum will be about 500mb of storage, i asked if that included the mirror or not. .... i even mirror my pc. everything that writes to one drive is written onto another drive, so in effect taking up twice as much storage space. only on 2 separate drives. If this wasn't the case here we would loose everything should a drive pack up or get infected.

.... this thread has taken a few turns

Make fun all you want but those types of sicknesses take time. Your muscles also have been very fatigued and you have to get them back to a state of endurance.

Four in my RV so far. But I'm meeting up with Noodledozer (going to help him at his pit for SS race), and also meeting up with one of Dazza's friends, some cat named Nary. And if Sacky gets off his lazzy ... and stops hiding behind his forum persona, maybe I will meet with him too.

C'mon brother - give credit where credit is due. He came from fairly far back in
the pack on a no-support Honda that's how many years old? And trounced all the guys
riding state-of-the-art Aprilias - stayed upright after Bautista practically gave him
a 250cc colonoscopy and was totally humble on the podium and in
post-race interviews. You did watch the race at Assen - didn't you?
