Interesting to see Miller at the top of P2 on the KTM, am looking forward to qualifying to see what the riders really have got !

I am hoping that one of the following riders wins it all this year: Miller, Martin, Marini !

Pol out.
Said to be for a likely few months recovery from his P2 accident - not life threatening but chest/back issues
Crash and aftermath has seen some riders raising the gravel trap issues as Pol went through the trap and impacted a tyre wall
The latest news I've seen:

UPDATE: Espargaro's injuries have been confirmed, with #44 suffering a pulmonary contusion, jaw fracture and a fractured dorsal vertebra.

Miller basically has the 2023 title sewn up. Itā€™s just a formality at this point.

Glad to hear that Pol has not suffered life threatening injuries though this could be the end of his career. Fractured vertebrae and heā€™s not exactly young. Gonna be a lot of waivers for him to throw a leg back over the Gas Gas.

Morbidelli off to another tough start. He crashed a few minutes in to P1, and he finished P2 in 20th. Everyone deserves better than this, including Frankie. His confidence may not recover if he does another season at the back on a factory bike, and Yamaha might find it even harder to find a replacement if Fabio starts drifting backward.

Anyway, letā€™s see what the first sprint brings. Miller has definitely added some intrigueā€¦..

Mate I would love to think so, If a pair of softs would last Jack 20 laps, riding like that.

What I get out of his ride, is the reason KTM sacked a race winning factory rider, to give Jack a two year contract, sure he has the popularity, but it was for his ability to develop the bike, and we can see the results of that. The point being that he had a soft tyre on the front, last year all KTM riders used a hard tyre on the front, even complained that the hard was too soft. So it looks like Jack has found one of the faults and fixed it. Should see this filter down through the other riders, Binder next.

Didn't get up early to watch quali live. Finding the newest iteration of MGP site even more annoying. Watching quali on the replay and now some clever ...... from Dorna has decided we all need to hear the jabbering of the crew members all through Quali. Just totally distracting. WTF???

Off to a great start (although Fabio and Enea will disagree). Marc is a legend, the Honda seemed like the Yammy of previous years on the straight. Pecco starting the year well unlike the previous seasons, doesn't bode well for his rivals. Hats off to the other fighters like Miller and Oliveira.

This yearā€™s Yamaha seems like the one of previous years as well. The team seems lost.
