So glad Ms. Padovani decided against selling out to Lewis Fn Hamilton.

We need family owned teams in this sport. It’s the last romantic connection we have to the days gone by.

Just watching how MM interacts with the entire Gresini team is why I wish he could have stayed there. It looks like such a great environment to be a rider in.

This is also why Bastianini thrived in that environment. It really seems like a warm and loving atmosphere where riders can achieve their best.

Uhmm... I don't think that's supposed to happen. Back to back wins with old bike... If I was him, I would put half a second to P2 tommorow in GP25 test. Just you know.. put shivers down the spine.

Couldn't have happened to a bigger ....

This is a great post.

People forget this is a business at the end of the day and teams make business decisions based on sponsors and other variables. If anyone has worked in, or been involved in a corporate environment, people with the appearance of Canet are generally not looked on favorably. One can argue whether this is right or wrong, but it's reality. Can't change it.

My wife once said to me after she had dressed for a meeting. 'You've got to play the part. You get more done that way.' I think it a wise statement that acknowledges and accepts the reality of creating an impression when your mind cannot be read and your personality unclear. Extrapolation does work to an extent. Corporate bodies look out for choices in expressing/presenting oneself for very good reason.

Of course, we may each wish to rock the establishment and even make change, but not before climbing the ladder and making a voice for oneself that will be respected and looked up to.

Anyway... another cracking race. Nothing like a bit of light rain to shake things up and show up the weaknesses of some. Martin seemed to panic mentally and dropped the ball. You never know what will happen next with him.
Marc was brilliant, putting on a display of how an opportunity is taken by the scruff of the neck and exploited fully. Ominous for Bagnaia who may well already be pondering next year when Marc will be on the other bike. All the more important for him to secure this year's championship. Whoever wins this year will richly deserve it.

Nah, if anything he should sandbag from here to Qatar next March any time he is on the GP25.

Hide the speed and drop the hammer when the lights go out.

I have to say though, for a guy who is right back in the championship hunt, Pecco sort of looked downtrodden on the podium, which I did not expect. I wonder if he was thinking whether or not this was a preview of things to come.

I chalk it up to not winning at his home race.
He’ll reset himself in time for the next one. No doubt.

I think he was just bummed at still feeling the effects of last week's crash. At least that gave him an excuse (a pretty good one) for getting beat by Marquez, tho Marquez also beat all the other '24 riders, so there must be a certain amount of uncertainty in his mind, which would not be a welcome thought for a guy who thought he might have had the championship wrapped up two races back.

Hopefully he won't replay the parc ferme footage in his trailer. Him and The Beast looking trashed and Marquez in the background jumping up and down in a group hug with the team. Not an uplifting image for him.

I disagree respectfully.

Marquez also beat him on the RCV at Misano when he and Quartararo were fighting for the championship. Didn’t affect his championship then and I doubt it will now.

Sometimes you just have to let go when you consider the risk/ reward ratio.

On that note, is it just me or was there a lot less yellow in the stands this year?

They have moved on to FB63?

It looked like Pecco had a lot of fans in the grandstands today which is understandable since it's his home race and he's a double world champion now. Definitely looked like less yellow than in years past. Also they seem to have switched to red smoke now.

Prosecco and Martini take turns in binning it so i guess in Misano its martins turn to kiss the gravel trap. Regarding Marcs last weekend: I have never seen someone dominating the field by eight tenths since we watch the ducati cup, is that only because of a slippery track? Its slippery for everyone, so it would only mean that the others really suck at riding and are only fast because of electronic aids. Or MM finally got the gp23 figured out eventough it took him longer than everybody expected and with the other two binning it every other race he could still win this year. Its not that big of a gap and who knows maybe we finally see some wet races aswell
That didnt age too bad

As predicted it was martinis turn to blunder this round and Although it wasnt really a wet race than rather a wet lap it was enough for the Master93 to show everybody who‘s the daddy. This championship is not over yet. I believe we will see at least another blunder of each martini and prosecco. Mix in one or two wet races and the pendulum could swing (btw why tf the commentators keep talking about pecco and jörg about their consistency, the only consistency is them taking turns blundering)
