What a race. Wow.
Easily the most entertaining in some time.
One could argue that M. Marquez would have been nowhere near the podium if it wasn’t for the mixed conditions. But the conditions happened. And he capitalized. 10/10 ride.
Bagnaia did the smart thing yesterday and today when he could easily have red misted after last week. But he didn’t, and took on this weekend as the champion he is. If the world title is decided in his favor this year, this weekend decided it.
100% Bastianini would have won this even with the mixed conditions, if he had opted for the medium instead of soft.
Martin needs to sit down and have a think about this. Decisions like this is why he isn’t yet a world champ, despite arguably being a more talented rider than Bagnaia. The Pramac crew looked defeated in the pit box and I can’t blame them.
The KTMs are improving. But still not there yet. Binder turned water into wine yet again.
Quartararo once again delivers a ride above and beyond his means. If that Yamaha improves even 20% more, he’ll wipe the floor with 90% if the grid.
Bez flattered to deceive, this was as good a chance he got this season to make a difference. Let’s see what he’ll do in the next race here. Same goes for Morbidelli. He had the pace to win, until the rain came.
Acosta is rapidly learning. Imagine a shark with a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. That’s him in 2 years.
