I'm hoping Martin will get a good start tomorrow to nullify his grid penalty, and it will be tight at the front.

As a fan who wants to see a proper battle between Martin and Pecco tomorrow and the rest of the season, I'm disappointed Martin got the penalty. That said, Race Direction need to get this out of MotoGP. Riders should not be on the track dawdling around during qualifying.

That sounds like another ridiculous decision. 🙄
I didn't think too much of it when I saw it in real time but he did impede Fernandez. My conspiracy theory lobe of my frontal cortex tells me if Martin so much as spits on the track, he'll be penalized for it. Excuse me while I adjust my tinfoil hat. They do need to get that crap out of the sport though.

When Martin came into MotoGP he didn't come up to speed as quickly as Acosta has, however he's showing the speed and on bike maturity to suggest that if he doesn't have too much adaption issues then he will be fighting for podiums on the Aprilia next year.

Considering how strong Bagnaia and Martin were in the sprint it seems we will see a repeat 1-2 in the race. Alex M and DiGi showed that the GP23 is strong at Assen so Marc M should go well despite missing out on race simulation data from the sprint. Aleix E is a question mark with the broken bone in his hand, if he rides its going to be painful

The anglo centric media complained for an entire day about the lack of penalty so race direction felt pressured into complying. Starting to resemble F1 now.
🙄 Well the media seeing a penalty after carrying them on isn't going to cause them to moderate their whinging.
Should have ignored the far quits.

Caught a glimpse of something interesting at the end of Warmup.

Diggia has been given the 2024 Aero (with the larger bottom diffusers) while Bez still has the 2023 Aero.

I’m assuming it’s part due to Diggia performing better and part due to Bez leaving for pastures anew.

Definitely check out the WCR races. Watched the inaugural races at Misano and they were smashing. More overtakes than the first half of the 2024 MotoGP season.
I watched that round, both the lads and lasses. Really enjoyable racing

I admit to being surprised by MM’s missteps this weekend. I don’t know why I should be though, it is absolutely true to his normal modus operandi. I can’t see him changing now.
I was thinking that MM had been much better this year. Until yesterday. At least he's not having accidents that are smashing up his body like before. (I hope I'm not tempting fate).

I'm not sure what's the best way to get the riders to stop looking for a taxi when they are supposed to get their laps in.

Something needs to be done though.
One race suspensions should work like a charm.
When sponsors call team bosses and shout angry words at them, riders will automatically find ways to behave.

That is fine, but by what metric are they supposed to start handing out the penalties?

Impeding, speed, deceleration?

Very good Moto3 race, again!

Really feel for Veijer, he was so close
Veijer is incredible, a shame he lost out narrowly in front of the home crowd; but Ortola did ride a magnificent last lap.

Really hope Veijer goes to Moto2 next year or the year after, he’s already getting too big for Moto3 and might struggle to maintain his current form in another year.

Fantastic ride by Ogura. I have to say, after years of the Kalex Cup, I’m enjoying the Boscoscuro dominance.

Aldeguer is showing form again, but he really needs to pay attention to track limits as it seems like a recurring theme.

Tiger Tony has been toothless since the Pirelli era began, but is showing promise once again.

Solid performance from Dixon as well, but it really looks like the KTM affiliated teams are suffering due to the switch to WP suspension.

This is probably one of the most enjoyable Moto2 seasons in some time.

Could be that Bezzecchi has signed with another manufacturer for 2025 while DiGi hasn't. That's what happened to Zarco last year
