Alonso with a hell of a ride considering the long lap penalty. That was a solid race and was happy they kept it clean at the end there since we know how that goes a lot of the time.

A very Moto3 final lap. Glad they all stayed the right side up.
I feel my comment the other day that a certain rider compares very well, at this stage, to the all-time greats is looking justified-ish.

Water is wet
The sun is hot
Alonso is winning this championship

He might have hit a false neutral in the process, but Vietti did manage to find an extra cog in his gearbox because il capo di tutti capi is in town.

Moto2 was actually kinda dull for once.
With the championship leaders struggling or out for a couple weeks the championship battle could be wide open.
Darryn Binder 7th once again, I can't believe it.

I’ve always like ol’ divebomb. Wouldn’t mind seeing him in MotoGP again if the stars align.

He suffered a lot with the WP switch, but they seemingly have made some technical progress and he finally can ride the bike as he wants to.

MM has his contract for 2025 stitched up and with having not won anything this year it wouldn't surprise me to see him in win it or bin it mode

Unfortunately it wouldn't surprise me either.
I'd prefer to see him in Top 5 mode for the rest of the year though, with his history every crash can be career-ending.

Brad Binder patting the Wunderkind on his head and gently reminding him that the house of Orange is the house that he built.

Versatile chap this Marc Marques. Keeps finding new ways to make life harder for himself. Botched start, from 4th to 14th. Don't tell me cutting thru the pack is his hobby?

Yamaha and Honda keeping the spirit of the open class alive a decade later.

Well, Peck Doohan just went ahead and made everyone else look a bit silly, didn’t he?

I thought this was a must-win race for him. He rode phenomenally...absolutely on the limit. His braking into turn 4 was something, you usually do not see him getting sideways under braking, but he was doing it repeatedly. Martin with no answers, but I will say perhaps he did learn something over the break as he didn't override when he saw he couldn't catch Pecco. It's only a 5 point gap which is easily overcome. Still think Pecco is taking the title, but maybe we will get something fun down the stretch.
