Being a non Rossi fan, we are grossly outnumbered. For every one of us, there is 100 fawning Rossi worshippers and we feel it is our duty to dispense 100 times as much ........ to even things out. Seriously, think about it . If you are not a Rossi fan, or just not prone to idolize other humans,what would you think about endless threads on your favorite board that are dedicated to the constant praise and adulation of one guy. We get it, he is great, the best that has ever been, BUT, we dont see the need, or the want, to talk about him, praise him, make excuses for him on a 24/7 basis. I grew up in the 60's , It is reminiscent of girls fainting, screaming, crying, and otherwise making fools out of themselves over the Beatles. I didnt get it then, and i dont get it now.

Worldwide there might be more rossi fans that all the other riders put together but not here. Not that post on a regular basis. I would say the stoner fans out number the regular rossi fans here.

As an excuse thats lame......your saying your reason for constantly dragging down threads is because youre sick of all the idolising he gets from fans. But then you maintain "we get it he's great".



Is it not more healthy for the place to just give it all a rest because from what i see......what fills the forum more than anything is anti rossi pointless protests from people who admit he is great but continue to crusade against the support he gets.



Lets cut all the bs...the more fans valentino attracts the more healthy the sport overall. I see that as a good thing regardless of wether you lot see them as true fans or "boppers".



If you dont like it well...there is always the option of not reading particular threads, like the vale picture thread which jumkie couldnt help himself. I dont see a tenth of the amount of an issue regarding people supporting stoner, lorenzo etc etc

If only that were the rule. But when you've been around a while and have had to listen to the constant barrage of kneejerk bias and hatred towards Hayden, Stoner and pretty much anyone who bests Rossi - you can't help get sick of syncophantic mindless ........ from fans who are incapable of anything vaguely resembling objectivity. In any event - get to know the crew here and you'll see there's a pattern of playful good-natured barbs being tossed back and forth between the people who are in fact good-natured. Whereas the real haters just slog on with the wearisome pissing matches that drag down the quality of the dialog.

Situation well described, but of course you know you can expect a few who disagree with what you say. They will say that you are picking on Rossi. Which I doubt you ever really have.



Its just the latest fairytale fad from them. Unfortunately their definition of "hating" is when someone does not idolise Rossi. Its unreasonable worship that causes them much pain when someone does not vaildate their idolisation.

Understandable but its still gone too far from what i read on EVERY thread where his name is mentioned. Just think these haters maybe should respect fans of his who are not bias and appreciate the guy for what he has acheived and for the personality he brings to the sport.



Its every single chance they get to pounce on someone and call them boppers....i cant stand it, not the fact that they dont like vale, but the whole approach to the situation. Its one thing to come down on an individual for making silly comments about maybe one of vale's rivals that have no weight, but an entirely different thing when this label is being thrown around like some kind or trend.



I havent even seen many "bopper" like comments(god how i despise that silly phrase), but what i do see is constant baiting of people who are giving decent opinion a lot of the time.
