That list does not include yesterdays win, i think he gets Lawson, to get Hailwood would be the best season ever put together in the history of the sport considering the competition.

I must admit, that after testing, a tiny part of me wondered if a perfect season was possible, ie. Win everything

But, after seeing Lorenzo in the race I realised that that would be almost impossible. I suspect the Yamaha will have an improved gearbox by mid-year and that sweet--handling Yamaha will be hard to beat around the tight tracks.

8 wins would be magic, so equalling Lawson?

I think he could do a little better, but not up to Hailwood - he just can't start crashing. And most of all he's got to take away Hogay's monogram - The more roo turds he drops after winning in Lorenzolands the better

Yeah they were a bit premature in naming him the new Doohan after just one championship. Although it has to be said i would not bet against him winning a second this year on the Honda. Rossi's time will be next year after a year developing the bike. Thats if we still have a motogp next year
