Hi everyone! Sorry im late to the party but i've been working like a dog! It looks like a good time was had by all at that crazy ... race. Jumkie has the same hat roger had and he wears it to all the races too! All The pictures are top notch, My faviorte one was the one of Ayoma its a Magazine quality shot it really captured his emotion. Hopefully I will be able to make it out to Silverstone next year and throw up th old V with you boys and maybe have a beer or 2 Thanks For sharing Mates!!!

Lots of good pics, I took 3 on my phone......I'm one of those that dont take cameras! I had a .... stood next to me the whole race with a huge telephoto lens, that kept getting in the way of the big screen.......think he got the message when I kept getting closer with my brolly!

...., cant belive what time you got up Rog! insane. Shame didnt get to meet you & the others, texted you early doors & didnt hear back till during the race.....plus signal was ....., tried calling when going past starkeys.

Donny queues were worse than normal, I spent 45 mins in the rat burger van queue, got chatting to a woman who wanted me to take some snaps, and the boys came round just as it was my turn to order.........had a serious dilema, so ended up missing the start! ha

Anyone know what the attendance was? Everywhere seemed alot more jammers than usual.

Heard the attendance was just over 100k. Not sure if thats right, but even the Saturday was pretty jammed

The tv man said it was an attendance record, but didn't get the number. BTW, does Rog count for two?

Trouble is the bikes go so fast that even using burst fire half of them come out all blurry, especially with the close-up ones - you get a perfect shot, then half a second later they've already moved out of focus, so it's just pot luck whether any turn out good. There's maybe about 400 that came out really good, so I'm just putting up some of my favourites.

MCN says 89,977 for race day. Fred Clarke said on Sunday it was a record crowd for the weekend - something like 150k IIRC. All I know was Friday was pretty busy and the Saturday crowd seemed to be the best I've seen yet.

Not bad considering they only had about 20k on race day back in 2000.

Dude, seriously, your pics rock. Here is a tip, reduce them to about 640X480 or 800X600. They will upload faster.

I've actually thought about cropping them in Photoshop to reduce them a bit.

Plus I can't take full credit for them. My brother took a load too - we were taking turns using his camera and can't really remember who took what. All I know is that you need an SLR with a pretty decent lens to get good shots. I tried using my 8meg compact, but you need digital zoom to get close enough with it, which seems to slow the shutter down too much to get anything good. Plus the auto-focus is a pain when you're shooting through the fence.

well then another half an inch after bonnilass you would have had me in the picture as well lol
