BTW, I've spent the last five minutes trying to figure out what it says at the bottom. Can you post a bigger pic of your avi. Purely for research reasons of course.

the view of the crainer curves from starkys bridge

7670:Dsc_0101.jpg]

I was planning on meeting up with ben and besty who were sat at the crainer curves but we had communication problems with our mobiles and there were so many people there it would have taken all day to get there. Hopefully we will get it together at Silverstone next year mate.
Did you get any photos from where you were say ?

Arrab said i may get some good pics if i walked up to Schwantz corner, there i could get a good view of mcleans. I walked up there and there was a wire fence in the way. I managed to bend the wire enough to get my camera lens through and pointed toward mcleans. Me and a few others were all set up when a marshal asked us to move, the ......s wanted to park there van by the fence, not that it was in anybody way were they had it parked before. Several people were moaning and shouting abuse at the marshal for this as there was no real need for it.
after they had parked there van i went back to the fence where i had bent the wires. some old geezer was there and told me it was his spot as HE had bent the wire. I called him a lieing ....... and showed him where else i had bent it. he refused to agree until i said, "go on then show me you bend it", the weakling couldn't and moved out of my way. being a nice bloke i forgave him and bent a bit out of the way for him so we could both get our shots.

Now im all lined up waiting for the bikes, i can hear them coming through the old hairpin and up to starkys. this italian bloke started moaning at me in italian, i could not understand him and didnt really give a .... as the bikes were seconds away from my aim. i took some pics then realised i was using his 4 ft daughter as a tripod

i had lent my arm on top of her head to steady my aim without realising . He wasn't to impressed but the little girl and mum smiled at me after. i thought i better get out the way now so moved over to schwants for some pics only for a lad to tell me his mate was standing there. i said "so ....... what and growled at him". Dangerous stuff getting these photo's for you lot

well ive got a 55-200 lens on my santa list. im just using my trusty Nikon D40 with the Nikon AF-S 18-55mm lens.
we got on the track after all the bikes had gone. we used the track to cross to the infield as it saved a bit of a walk and the que for the tunnel. Not part of the track invasion. i thought that was stupid. there were bikes that had earlier been lapped still racing when the morons invaded the track. Its because of this where getting higher fences put up which spoils the view. last year there was even some .... on the track pushing his kid in a pushchair on track while theres bikes still racing.

yeah tell me about it. we only went on to get a glimpse of the podium. was rammed already though when we got there so didnt see much. should have run faster.

one thing i thought was strange was race marshalls didnt give a ..... there were people climbing under the fence about 1m from two race marshalls once dov had gone thro finish, and they did nothing to stop em. didnt even look worried in fact.

gutted my first donnington was the last donnington
