Good topic I like it.

My shock winner has got to be Nakano, It would have to be in another style of race like the rain sodden Shanghai circuit as of last year and Rossi needs to be out of it.

This guy deserves a win in my book and would be a huge boost to the Kawasaki camp.

Roberts Jr, Tamada or Nakano.

The rookies (except Pedrosa), the WCMs and D'Antin Ducatis are in the category of "Miracle winner"

Stoner's going to be fast but I don't think he's going to get a win in his rookie season. A few podiums wouldn't be out of the question. Pedrosa has the best chance at taking wins as a rookie and I'm not sure he can do it, it will be close though.

My surprise winner? Toni Elias or else Kenny Roberts Jr. or John Hopkins in the rain

well i'd have to say... if we truly mean SHOCKING!!! ellis or hoffmann. i'd be surprised if any of the others listed would pull off a win, but not shocked.

depuniet would be pretty shocking. stoner pretty damned surprised. roberts, nakano. tamada, hopkins... definately not.

I hope guys like Nakano and KRJR can win, for them and their teams. Unlikely though.
I wouldn't call Pedrosa a surprise win, becuase I wouldn't be surprised if he won.
My pick is Chris Vermulen..... If Melandri crashes, the HRC's have technical problems, Caparossi's in hospital, Gibbers has a bad day, Edwards has "Style problems" and Rossi decides not to get outta bed in the morning, it's possible.

yes i think shock winners for me would be Tamada or maybe Vermeulen, just roll the end of March and lets find out !

I don't think Tamada's that good.
Wasn't he supposed to take it to Rossi last year and be his next rival, following in the footsteps of guys like Biaggi and Gibernau?

I dont think that a win from Casey is out of the question.

I think Shinya would be a good bet, oh and Colin (that would be a shock win!)

To win, Stoner would have to beat Rossi AND Melandri, so unless theres another Motegi '05 style incident, and he somehow manages to beat Hayden, Pedrosa, Gibernau, Edwards and Caparossi, I don't think that's going to happen.
