Hayden has dropped back after making a mistake in the last corner.. Stoner is pulling away.

Nicky Hayden's mistake was that of complete frustration at the better ride of Elias, it was dangesous and that is not how a champion makes an overtake!

hahah thats what i was gonna say....nice parade lap especially the last 5 LOL
.... this .... fix this .... now. Ive finally had enough of this ......... And .... pedrosa he cant pass anyone for .... and he always gets right behind Stoner. Little ...... gets out of the slip stream too early and brakes too early to pass Stoner at anytime ....

Pedrosa does not like to fight he likes to runs away with it.....he could have make a try at Stoner several times, and did not...why?
<

Shame RDP did not get Dani in the end.

Rossi well done for getting where you did!

Westy, Westy, Westy....DUDE, cut down on the coffee mate it aint making you twitchy!

CV well done to beat Hopper!

Melandri shame you got semi help up by RDP and the Hobbit otherwise Casey would had a challenge.

Casey CHAMPION ride and win...Win Number 10, can you make Valencia a repeat of last year with an Aussie wining (read dominating) on a Ducati?!! I think you can

West needs to learn that green means go, not red.

Actually West started from the wrong place on the grid. That's what he got a penalty for. He was in one of the 250cc grid slots instead of the motogp ones and hence gave himself a small advantage. Can't believe nobody pointed it out to him BEFORE the race though!!!
<

Still not a great race. Rossi did well. And I'm very pleased for Marco. Seems his camel back straw (the bit inside) was 'pissing' into his suit for the first couple of laps and he was getting very nervous. Thankfully it didn't put him off his pace!

Welcome to my world

Migs you need to look at the time sheets. Hayden had podium pace but he couldn't get around Elias. I'm not sure I like his decision, but Elias was riding like complete ... today. Hayden needed to slide in behind Rossi so they could pick off any of the front runners who went soft at the end. It didn't work.

Terrible terrible showing for Hayden and West who both had the pace to place 4 or 5 positions higher, maybe even more for Westy.

Great showing for Elias. Complete and udder lack of pace. He was riding the wheels off the bike to keep it out of the 2:04's and he comes home in 6th. Good ride by him considering he didn't have the pace for better than 9th or 10th.

Small consolation prize for me. At the end of the race only 3 riders were still laying down the law on the time sheets. Stoner, Rossi, and Hayden everyone one else was limping home. Well, Melandri put in a few hot ones a few laps from the checkered flag, so I guess you can give him the nod too.

Ah that explains a lot then as I saw nothing wrong with his start on the replay.

What a div!

Also I liked the added touch of the lean angle meter on screen, not that I noticed it before.

Westy didnt jump the start, he was positioned a metre to the right to where he should have been in a 125/250 spot..I want to know why a grid marshall didn't tell him to move across a metre, or whatever it was? He was one of the first riders back on the grid ffs

fecking shattered..

Anyway, the usual 2007 Stoner domination and a pretty boringish race.. Not as bad as some of the others this year though

Looks damn hot over there, tough work, respect to all :up:

Hayden was clearly quicker. He was just too impatient on two occasions. Once trying to go through Elias (starting to go on inside then ended up trying to go round the outside). Then the second time when he caught up again over shooting it as he went past elias.

Shame Stoner's so good. Nothing to do with tyres this one:

both Rossi and hayden 2'02"5s for both of them on the last lap!

Outrageous that none of the marshalls corrected West's position on the grid!

Lest you forget Elias is number 24 and Hayden is 1.

Elias was the faster up to Lap 11 when Nicky's frustration got the better of him.

Hayden quicker on laps 3,4,6,7,10 and 11. huh?
In total quicker than Elias on 14 of the laps out of race..2 laps messed up by mistakes running wide.
Fastest lap Elias 2'02"738
Fastest lap Hayden 2'02"349
Elias into 2'02s three times.
Hayden into 2'02s eight times.

You're wrong.

Agree strongly with all this!

For those who find the races boring I have the cure!!:

Melandri fans ..... ignore Stoner and watch Melandri race .... even pretend he wins.

Pedrosa fans .... ignore Stoner and Melandri and watch Dai race .... even pretend he wins!!

De Puniet fans ..... ignore ......... d'oh forget it

You and me both! What a farce it was, especially considering he was one of the first riders back to the grid after the formation lap.. Ridiculous.. He still beat Chaz and claimed a point, i guess thats sort of a positive..

Did you even read it. Nicky is faster on a good portion of the laps and look at Laps 10,11. If you watch the living timing like I do, you would have known Nicky was on/near fastest lap before he pulled the maneuver on lap 12. He was about to take a second out of Elias that lap.

You're wrong.

Lap 2
24 = 2:03
1 = 2:04

Lap 3
24 = 2:03:6
1 = 2:03.0

Lap 4
24 = 2:03:3
1 = 2:03:2

Lap 5
24 = 2:03:3
1 = 2:03:4

Lap 6
24 = 2:03:1
1 = 2:02:5

Lap 7
24 = 2:02:8
1 = 2:02:6

Lap 8
24 = 2:03:1
1 = 2:04:0

Lap 9
24 = 2:02:7
1 = 2:02:8

Lap 10
24 = 2:02:9
1 = 2:02:7

Lap 11
24 = 2:03:0
1 = 2:02:5

Lap 12
24 = 2:03:3
1 = 2:+Kitty Litter

But yes you are right and I was wrong Elias was not faster up to turn 11.

If Nicky was so much quicker and better then he would has passed Elias with ease. Nicky's frustration got the better of him and he rode dangerously going into the last turn on Lap 12.

Or should Elias just let Nicky pass since clearly Nicky was going to run with the Stoner, Melandri, and Pedrosa?

Rubbish move from Nicky, not how a champin should go about his business.

Wow, that post seems very similar to one from a certain CSCVAW.. Lots of rhetoric and exclamation.. Anyway, Ant will do fine in his first full season and after pre-season testing..

His pace at Motegi and Sepang has been great, qualifying on the second row in the dry for both those races, shame about the starts.. Bigger and better from here on in..
