Really!

Unless you noticed everyone did that.

well with ....... motogp's crappy buffering coverage its a wonder i could see dam anything

I think stoner has given up on the rossi -signature at the absolute last possible second pole snatching lap business, whether from wisdom, arrogance or confidence it is hard to know. It would seem to me that parking the bike in the garage with a few minutes to go with the implication that you won't be beaten is more psychologically crushing anyway, unless someone else snatches pole from you of course

Rossi is a true sports man. He is a great rider, charismatic person, kind, funny. On top of being the greatest rider ever, he is also a great author. That is why we love him.

i think stoners right , play your own game and do what works best for you rather than try and copy someone else's way of doing things.
he smashed the poll time which is pretty incredible seeming this is not one of his favourite tracks and he is not normally that fast here. top bridgstone by a mile so kudos to him.

that last turn is a ......., even on motogp 07 its a ....... and catches me out every time.

You again obviously have inside knowledge denied to we mere mortals. As far as I am aware casey stoner did not devise the 800cc formula, did not design the current yamaha and does not own magnetti-marelli and hence is not in a position to restrict valentino rossi's access to their technology.

If you want to argue that the 800cc formula was ill-considered, that it has led to processional racing and that the people who devised it are stupid I will agree with you. Meanwhile until hopefully they change it the rules are the same for everyone.

EDIT
It was late last night when I posted this and a couple of glasses of wine had made me choleric. I actually think it is very likely the ducati does have an advantage at the moment when ridden appropriately, but I am not sure how many in the field could ride it as it needs to be ridden; I am virtually certain that valentino could do so. I have been consistent, and did say earlier in the year when the yamaha appeared to be the better bike that I had no problem with this in a prototype series. I do think that fans of riders who have won championships on factory hondas or to a lesser extent on factory yamahas are not in a strong position to complain about ducati having an advantage. I think we agree that the most significant advantage ducati have is likely to be engine power; hrc bikes had such an advantage for most of the 25 years prior to 2007. I would like to see tc taken away but this would require radical design changes (probably a good thing); I think the analogy with modern military jets which are inherently unstable without the avionics is an apt one and that all of these bikes would be unrideable without the modern electronics. The kawasakis (or killawaskis as somebody on another forum calls them) appear to be unrideable even with the electronics, as did the ducati at some stages earlier in the year.

rossi will insist on dual compunds next year. he will want use of Bridgestones and Michelins. you heard it here first

shut up u buffoon if u cnt say anything of worthwhile just dnt comment with ur dumb replys.

i have a good feel for rossi tomorow usually when he forced to pull something out of the bag he does, his time on race tyres isnt that bad anyway....

i dont think he will crack under this pressure just push as hard as the bike will let him.

Why is it destroyed? many fans out there think it is at its best! .... Stoner fans and Pedrosa fans as well as those who just like the formula.

You hit the nail on the head- the Stoner fans only care for their rider to win, they don’t give a toss that the sport have become a pathetic procession. The last 2 races have been so boring to watch, I rather watch tour de France!

Well there's one real easy fix for that!

or is it just the yellow Jersey will remind you of seeing a yellow rider at the front?

Exactly if Rossi wins the world is perfectly aligned. If Stoner wins....blah blah blah yada yada yada...so sick of 16 year olds...

Very good point....now think of the Ducati without or with less TC....do you (or we) think it is still a rideable beast for other riders that like less TC?

Watching QP today and paying attenting to Stoner and Hayden the style are different, so in my view, I don't necessary think that Nicky on the Duc is instant success....so in my view Nicky fans be careful what you wish for (ala Nicky at Ducati in 2009)!
