look. pete wants to throw out some pretty arrogant comments, so i called him out on it. no need to come to his rescue. seems like the guy can do fine on his own.

don't get me wrong roger-m, i'm not here to make enemies or anything like that. my wife calls me the ....... police every now and then. from the brief time i've been on here, you can probably guess why.

and you dont think the rossi hating thead pete was replying to was arrogant and asked for such a response. you say im sticking up for pete, well that's say i enjoy reading his posts and tend to agree with most of them, you jumped in to "stick up" for povol did you not ? if not pete's post would have meant nothing to you !

Sorry, the Casey vs Rossi stuff bores me, and other people who can count past 10. Anyone with a clue about bikes will readily admit that the guy can ride. No question. He won the title in an awesome fashion last year, and at the moment is riding out of his skin. I like Rossi as a rider and as the guy who put bike racing back where it belongs, a mainstream sport. Apologies to Tom and the other " I likied bike racing before it sold out and people watched it brigade" but the guy has lifted it out of the doldrums. I totally rate Stoner as a rider, but as I have said before, he's a greetin faced wee ......., who will do about as much for raising the profile of the sport as watchin re runs of Fogarty interviews.

I await a flood of hate from our Aussie friends.

It doesn't get any easier does it, I'll try again.

The facts are I have stated that Rossi has raised the profile of the sport, and won seven world titles There. Fact, no digs at Stoner.

You may have noticed that I am Scottish. "Greetin faced ......." is a Scottish term for someone who never looks happy.

The stuff about Stoners Aussie beginnings were a joke. How many times do I have to say that I have the utmost respect for the guy? I'm well aware that he has an incredible racing career, and I dont actually know if there is a Farm Bike Sheep Shagging Championship.

If there is, I'm sure Casey would walk it.

Finally, I, and most other people who attended school, realise that Stoner has to ride the bike, and as Ive said .... knows how many times. The Ducati/Stoner package is awesome. Just like the folks that make robot jokes about Dani realise he is actually a bloke and not Asimo.

There, if you want to put this post down to the Rossi worshipping ravings of fan boy, then hey I give up.
