Is Rossi going to say he was just settling in, was feeling good and felt he had the pace to go with Marquez.
Then it's all Michelins fault because they betrayed me with a bad tyre...

Yes:D

You know i never wish for anyone to crash, but once i saw Rossi was ok, a big grin came across my face. It was involuntary, couldnt help it.:giggle:

Marquez wins, of course, and Valentini crashes out. It doesn't get any better for a MotoGP race.

Take a look at lap times from this year as compared to last. Pretty much guarantee that everyone who finished was slower than last year.

Everyone out there has 2 goals. Be fast, and finish.

So no one was faster than last year, but quite a few finished.
Those that didn't failed at the second goal that in this years race was the only attainable one.

I'm not saying the Michelins are good, or that they are not the problem, just that everyone is on the same ..... Most seem to have been able to handle them for one reason or another.

No. Never, ever wish for a rider to crash. The sport is already debased by the ignorant booing of riders on the podium.

Generally one expects the pace to be as fast or better than the previous year. It's just a bad sign when the bikes get better but the times are slower. Naturally - there is some sense of dissatisfaction when the whole field has to slow down to keep the shiny side up. With riders who virtually never crash going down left and right you know the results are artificially skewed and you didn't see the race that could have been.

Nice to see the three enjoying their time on the podium taking selfies. It's good to see that without Rossi spoiling the atmosphere by being a drama queen and ignoring his fellow racers.
The show is much more enjoyable when you see the riders getting along after the race is done.

Big mistake giving Michelin the tyre contract when they haven't had experience in GP for years, at least when Bridgestone got it they already supplied half the grid ! Added to that is worse electronics for the bikes and no wonder riders that normally don't crash are doing so.

Where did I imply that I wish for a rider to crash? I am speaking to the results. Valentini only has himself to blame for crashing.

That's the Valiban for you. 2019 will be a great season.

We really don't need this. Take it elsewhere please.

Take yourself elsewhere. Maybe to your own forum where you can control the content.

Calm it down buddy, I'm sure arrab wasn't telling just you, he was telling the Rossi bopper who was saying he wanted two riders to crash whereas you said today's result was good with Rossi out.

Thank you for bringing a new level of subtlety to the forum. We who object to parochial ......... pervading the sport obviously just need to adopt the soccer hooligan mentality ourselves.

Given that you've already been banned several times already for your similarly asinine posts last year, I think that scenario highly unlikely.

Just curious - why is it a 'perfect race' because a rider crashes out? Perhaps you should step out from behind the keyboard and voice this opinion at a circuit near you...preferably flat track where you can approach the riders directly to share your view, then perhaps post an apology from intensive care.

My apologies, as a newby I was attempting to calm a situation. I had no idea you'd had problems with the poster before.

WOW. Lorenzo crashes, the bobbers cheer. Rossi crashes, the haters cheer. You're all the fukn same.

Poor Dovi. Good on Pedrosa for heading straight over to apologize though.

Well...I dont think I can support Crutchlow anymore, it's hard to fight for a rider who can't even finish a race. Oh and tear shed for Dovi, the guy just can't catch a break.

Good on Dani heading right over there, and on the Ducati team for not letting the journalists in.
