MotoGP: 2016 Round 1 - Qatar (SPOILERS)

Miller is still injured and missed a significant proprtion of preseason testing, and Rabat is a very slow learner, not helped by the fact he can't do hundreds of laps on his track with an RC213V anymore like he used to on his Moto2 bike.

Maybe ne needs his best mate Harry Jones to do some more laps with him around Almeria?

Managed to catch the last hour or so of it yamfan.

It was a good behind the scenes view and I thought the wee bit just before the Sepang podium was very telling in body language and eye contact between everyone there.

Also puts to bed the notion that George hadn't seen what happened so shouldn't have commented.

Yep, it showed him watching it on the TVs just prior to going to the podium

It's precisely because of HarryJones that I'm surprised Rabat is doing so poorly. With a know it all like that on your team, he should have won Qatar.

Good point about Miller. Forgot about his injury.

Erm..... excuse me Valentino, but why did you follow Marquez for most of the race and not show him a wheel? Is there an imaginary conspiracy afoot, or were you just not fast enough?
'Rossi is one of the most aggressive riders in the history of MotoGP' with examples like Jerez 05, Laguna 08, Motegi 10, and Argentina 15. But he didn't even show Marquez a wheel at Qatar 16? Why is Rossi protecting Marquez?

I think A.Esp is on testing duty. So I wouldn't compare their performance straight up.

The two that are doing ...... are Rabat and Miller. They're not on an RCV-RS, are they? The only explanation for their poor performance seems to be they don't have tech support. Which frankly are reasonable reasons.

Testing duties makes sense.

Even when Miller heals up, he's going to be at a severe disadvantage. The unified ECU only benefits teams with armies of computer techs. If it wasn't for MM, Honda would be nowhere. It'll be interesting to see how or if Honda can catch up with the M1.

The whole bt sports crew are Rossi biased and with Suzy Perry joining it'll only get worse but it's the only way to get MotoGP on tv in the uk.

I wouldn't be surprised if Tito was to get given a road going rcv from Mr Van Der Stratten, just as a gift of course...

No it isn't, Vid pass, the basic pass cost just under £70 for the off season and this season,
Weigh that up against paying bt each month, and it is less biased, slightly,
I watch the replays on ITV4 monday and Tuesday just to check out their commentary.
OK I'm a slag I would watch it every night till next practice if I could, It's an addiction Guv;)

I wanted it on tv on the sky platform via satellite dish matey as I live in a very rural area where the Internet is pretty poor when trying to stream stuff. I wouldn't want the thing to start buffering during a race. LOL

BTW, I record every session and watch them loads too. That's another feature I wanted too.

The more I see that video, the more proof that Jack Miller was right with his description of Hodgson

And the more a mate's description of Hodgson as a pretentious ........ who absolutely loves the limelight and Rossi is borne out (the comment was post Sepang and made by a highly regarded official within Australian bike racing)

Duc sounds great as usual.

The speed down the straight though...god almighty.

I am going to call it now, the Ducati will be hitting 230MPH at Mugello.
