And about his orientation I don't really care, although am a straight man. Thank you.

In truth I doubt many do on here, myself included. He does lots of things to try and convince folks like parading the odd girlfriend round etc, but personally I wouldn't be surprised if later in life he comes out of the closet so to speak. Maybe he's of the mindset that in such a male oriented sport that he'd lose some fans or get abuse.
One thing Valentino doesn't like is folks standing up to him, he likes to dish it out and see his fans do it to his rivals but I doubt very much if he could handle such treatment himself. Indeed his meltdown in Sepang has shown he can be rather fragile under pressure for a man of his age and experience.
I'm sure if he got half the grief that his rivals have taken he'd have cracked big time...

I have nothing against gay people, never had, never will. We, straight men, should love gay men. What`s a gay? A man who`s not into chicks! So, more chicks for us. Not to mention that a gay`s partner is also a MAN, so, DOUBLEWIN!

But isn't that reverse with lesbians?
Two women off the market.

Once again, it's not my business. My only wish is to watch solid racing in many forms, e.g., wheel-to-wheel action.

BTW, many riders and drivers indulge in so-called parading their girlfriends or spouses. Remembers, Stoner's better half? Is that wrong? So, why Rossi?

I now recall how some clowns at BBC/Sky made a big deal whenever Sebastian Vettel chose to exercise his right for private life. Same goes with Andre Lotterer. I hardly saw Sebastian Loeb doing it during his WRC days. But I've seen Senna. I reckon it's ones choice to bring their loved ones or not.

Why would anyone need to make a fuss about it (baring a controversy or embarrassing news)? My point is enjoy watching their racing skills and just don't bother about private lives. If one doesn't go by that logic, even Einstein would look as a bad man. Is he? :)

What meltdown  I don't subscribe to your analysis.

Anyway, let's not go tangential...I'll leave it here.

I was just ....... with you, but you have already gone on the bopper offensive . Like i said, you guys cant hide you are.;)

You would certainly seem to be confused, possibly with your pronouns. Perhaps you meant "which meltdown?". There were at least 2 by my count, in the press conference(s) at Sepang prior to the race, and the one during the race which resulted in the back of the grid penalty for the next race, or did that not occur?.

So boppers are denying Rossi had a meltdown? Jesus ....... Christ.

Please stop hallucinating, and watch your language.

Hallucinating? Try being honest and admitting your mistake instead of editing it (you do realise we can see when you did it don't you?) and going all snooty about a word that in the American sense implies he's "messing with you".
Initially you entered the forum claiming you were a fan of nobody as you swore after Senna's sad death, you wouldn't follow anyone again. As soon as anyone expressed an opinion against Rossi you piled in aggressively defending him like the true true bopper fan you claim not to be. Hence him "......." with you.
This forum thrives on honesty and folks having OPEN opinions and debating them like so, if it means having a laugh and leg pulling all the better.
If you feel you've got to behave like some sort of undercover agent to defend your yellow hero, maybe this place isn't for you.
Just so we're clear, I'm not saying you're not welcome, as all MotoGP fans are, but your behaviour will net you some serious grief if you continue in this manner.
Chill out and enjoy the forum, whoever you support doesn't matter as long as you make an effort to get along buddy.

Ps I hope this post causes no offence to the addressee and especially the mods and more established members of the forum. I decided to make this post so the forum doesn't become a place where members are tippy toeing around, unaware who they see speaking to. It's one thing having a bit of banter and sport, but things will easily get ruined when things get nasty.

I've only been on this forum a short while myself but have really come to enjoy it, as nobody is singled out for their opinions, a rare thing as most forums are horrible if you don't worship at the altar of 46.
Please delete this mods if you feel it's in the wrong taste

I understand boppers out of wack with reality, religious extremism explains that; but what excuse do non-boppers have other than a special kind of disconnect, apparently we got MickD with an alternative perception of Rossi and Carmelo's exchange where Rossi summons the CEO to his motorhome.

The funny thing is, in MickD's haste for a gotcha moment, in judging my interpretation of the exchange to be discounted as "subjective" he is banking that his interpretation is not subjective. How exactly does that make sense is anyone's guess.

Awesome logic right?

Jum, your "pejorative" interpretation of the body language is subjective. Ah ok, so MickD's interpretation of their body language is what then? I guess MickD has access to Mr.Webb's mind reading device. Mick knows enough about Rossi's "intent" to judge that my interpretation is incorrect. Subjective for me, but not subjective for Mick.

To be fair to Uncle Carmelo, something I am not habitually particularly inclined to be, his response seems mainly to have been to put himself and Dorna more at arm's length in relation to the judicial process in motogp, whatever his motives for doing so may have been.

What the "gotcha" moment betrayed to me was more Valentino's attitude ie that he is no ordinary competitor but can take his concerns directly (and it would seem immediately) straight to Ezpeleta.

I thought it might have been him being called a bopper that was offensive.:eek:

I saw that exchange and to be totally honest I think that Carmello was just entertaining Rossi and trying to calm the situation. Ya know when you're crazy friend is telling you everyone is out to get him so you agree with him in the how he shuts the .... up and calms down.
