MotoGP 2014 Round 8 - Assen, Netherlands

We both have the same title - Senior Member - and I am no more in charge than you are. I only suggested he take his chat to the Lounge whereas you suggested I leave and start my own forum. Wonder how ownership will view you sending their members off to start up some more competition.

As per the 12 month thingy. Right is right and wrong is wrong.
Whether you have been a member 1 day or 60 years.

Believe it or not I had rather be friends and discuss MotoGP. What say you?

If you want to waffle about yourself I suggest you do so in the lounge.

And my suggestion to you is that if you are going to be an ....... then clean it everyday before you start posting so the rest of us don't have to smell your .....

See............if honey won't work then I do have vinegar.

Can't you people see what they are doing? Perfect example is happening now.

1. One of the troublemakers comes in and starts some trash talking to stir someone up.

2. As soon as someone responds in kind, the second one takes up the torch while the first disappears. And then a third. And then a fourth.

3. Meantime the forum has the appearance that the responder to the first troublemaker is the only one who is not getting along with other members.

4. While the two troublemakers who planned the attack are off with playground giggles because they got you to jump in with your display of emotion to carry their attack forward.

Now ask yourself, what part did I play in this forum disruption. Don't answer me - just ask yourself. You know if you were part of the attack and you know if your felt compelled to stuff this new poster with the smart ... answers.

Don't worry about me because I know what part I am playing in this.

Been there and done it before. So I really don't need you to try and advise me.
Or come to my assistance even.

Do not let these tricksters draw you into their games. They only want to make this forum look bad while bragging how nice the other site is.

Who are the troublemakers? Who is they? Seriously. I have not followed this all that closely and I only recognize a couple of the posters on this thread from the old PS. Are you really implying that someone "planed the attack?"

Honestly? This is a message board. The venue doesn't really lend itself to group think compliance terribly well. Perhaps some of you are aiming for that. If so, I suspect you'll be disappointed and participation will continue to wane.

The "troublemakers" as you were have all moved on to another forum. I don't see much troublemaking here. Certainly not compared to what we've seen in years past.

Funny you brought up a certain individual by name when discussing blowhards, i certainly didnt, nor did Migs. My greatest foil ?, give me a break.
Who the .... else would e be talking' about? Or is referring to a member directly no longer allowed?

What I can't understand is if things are so grand at the "other" site then what the Hell is he doing here pestering me with his silly ......... He needs to go hang with his pals.

Profanity uncalled for but I thought it so I posted it. I'll let it stand as is.

Well I assume you are referring to me... I've stated since melt-down-day-one I'm not leaving. Nothing so grand at the new forum, just an interesting comparison. I think it is prudent to understand/experience all sides ... who likes closed doors anyway?

Just to refresh you on the chronology, in case you didn't read the whole thread: M27 wondered why there was so little activity and Migs brought up the new forum to which several posters replied.

wow - You must be one of his pals and feel he needs protecting. Hahahaha - or just someone who has an opinion different to yours!!
I can already see you had rather talk about and protect your pals instead of discussing MotoGP. As stated before, the Lounge is the proper place for that type of chatter. Hope this has cleared things up for you.
Organic/tangental discussions in threads are what makes them fun... threads are not railway tracks not to be deviated from!

The only "troublemaker" demanding other members conform to their personal opinion of what a forum should be and how members should behave is you. The is no conspiracy just peeps who share and discuss their opinions... isn't that what a forum is for?

I was just pointing out that i thought it was funny that a discussion about blowhards automatically reverted to a certain individual. Thats one hard earned reputation.

Pov still can't say his name!!! MotoGP Junkie; Jumkie; Winston Smith; Sam... OK that's enough but you get the point. If y'all ain't refering to him it must be JKD, but he's actually posted recently!

Why would it be 'funny' that the only poster who wrote daily 1000-2000 essays, no, rants, would be considered a blowhard - kinda obvious captain.

I, personally, am missing him on both forums. .... D or not to Mr. J, I miss him. As I stated earlier in the thread - society needs the fringes, the ends of the bell-curve, to be complete. Otherwise the world is just a bunch of Whammys... ponder that.

I know Jumkie very well. I've spent a fair amount of time with him and he's became close with some of my personal friends. While I often disagree with his postings on PS and some of his idea's, I assure you that he is not on the fringe. Not even close. I think many here would be quite surprised by the life he leads and how he behaves in person.

I've often asked him about why he's so obtuse on the forum. He views it as entertainment. Many of the people he routinely argued with were actually also personal associates of his and mine. We had this thing on the forum that vanished when we spent time together at races and what not. There's a group of us who have traveled to races on both coast's of the US and the UK to watch GP together. We had some pretty epic PS meet ups at races. One of the best took place at Silverstone a few years ago where several of his PS "adversaries" showed. A good time was had by all....

As you know, the internet is not real life.

Thats one thing we can partially agree on, the world cup is a farce, but it isnt because of the ref's. Its because soccer is the most boring game i have ever tried to watch, and i did actually try to watch this time. Never have i been so glad to see the USA get eliminated from any sport event as i have the world cup. Now maybe we can get the leftist media to push something else this country hates down our throats. No, soccer has not turned the corner in the US, and if anything, this world cup has set soccer back 20 years. I have never seen so many whining floppers in my life. Every little nudge and Johnny falls down, grips some part of his body, cries to the ref, then has a miracle recovery as he gets up and runs around for 2-3 more minutes trying to get tripped so he can whine some more. I heard someone say the other day that " Americas new pastime is hating soccer" . Thank God FOOTBALL season is right around the corner.

I dont care who you are, when someone kicks your ... 8 times in a row at anything, doubt starts to creep in. Some can channel that doubt, some cant. Rossi is slowly starting to accept his fate, but unlike Lorenzo, this is not resulting in a meltdown since he is exceeding what was expected and most importantly, beating his favored teammate. Rossi came out and said it post race, their goal now is to prevent Marc from winning every race

“For sure Marc is a rider that for all his career risks a lot and he's very young, so he's very brave. But I think the main reason is that Marquez and Honda together are faster than anybody else on the track,” he said.

“For this reason he can fight for the win every Sunday; he is very clever and always concentrates – he does the right thing and for this reason he won and the target now is to try and win all the races.

“From our side we have to try to beat him at least one time – this is the target.”

MM is a great rider - but a fair portion of the blame for his dominance has to do with Yamaha not being able to fund the R&D to give the M1s what it takes to be competitive.

You are preaching to the converted levi. I refer to Jum as 'the fringes' ONLY in the forum world.
