About Stoner you're right...he tries too much for nothing. Why the hell has he push soo much when he's got 3 secs?! I would say now Ducati should not hire Gibernau, because they have one.

This was the last race when he could turn the page, on Vale's hometrack but he failed again...from here I can not imagine to stand up and win (not a race, the WC in the future) against Rossi.
Great ride by JL, Elias and Vermi! Toseland was great as well.

A the post race interview Elias said he "was free" and that anyone interested should let him know. He actually looked like he was on the verge of crying. Talk about your bittersweet moments. Sounds like Ducati has already cut him loose. How ....... ironic is that? The one other guy who finally learns to ride the 08 bike competitively isn't assured of a ride.

Fackin hell, that was a race, and the 250s were awesome!

It's not so easy when you cant just clear off by miles is it? I think the arguement that Casey is overiding due to pressure is gaining credibility race by race.

Pedrosa in traffic is a joke, as soon as Rossi got near him, his body language changed, and he was on borrowed time. Scud is more impressive by the week, and Hopper is a waste of money and a bike.

Never mind Barry Machine an his mates, wheres the "Rossi is past it" brigade who wrote him off last year?

Clearly his plan was to run away with the race and humiliate Rossi - but the tactic back-fired. That's racing dude. Rossi can still have some mishaps and/or mechanical DNFs, but even as a Stoner fan, my gut says this ain't gonna happen.
 
Stoner will have big problems now, not only championship wise but phsycological.

What happend today,reminded me of Biaggi 2001. Stoner almost explaind it why he crashed in

last gp by just crashing again, when Rossi was closing the gap.

I hoped for a better result for him and Pedrosa, to bring the top 3 closer.

I ,m sure the threads with the "did Stoner choked?" are under their ways. and i think this time

unfortunatly he did. But i think also that every rider or driver makes mistakes under pressure,

from time to time, or a few in a courier.

Anyway since i,m a Rossi fan i,m very happy for him. Becuse this was his first track ever to ride

on, and he had never won it in motogp and of cource the family/friends/neighbourhood/record

for more reason to be happy with.

Kawasaki should hire Scud to partner Melandri next season.

They should keep Westy on a 3rd bike and hire someone that CAN develope a bike...Marco cant, Westy cant and certainly Hopper cant....
 
Is it me or is Casey doing the exact same thing as Biaggi did in 2001? After the summer break leads basically every race and then crashes out of the lead with Rossi behind him. A tad ironic that they both rode/ride Marlboro sponsored motorcycles.

Anyway Rossi has sealed the championship today and he deserves it, its just a shame that Dani got injured and the Michelins had a couple of terrible races because he could be right there with Vale in the championship if he hadn't of got himself injured and if Michelins had been on form, but ifs and buts don't win championships.

Great rides by Jorge and Toni as its very, very nice to see all the Spaniards up there in the race, great battle between Toseland, Dovi, Caparex and Vermeulen aswell, and all credit to Toseland for holding Caparex and Dovi off nicely.

The biggest news of the weekend was without a doubt the fact that Pedrosa is basically confirmed to ride Stones at Indy, if not tomorrow in the test. This is the news that I have been waiting for and I really didn't think that they would get the Stones this season, I thought Honda would wait until 09, but i'm not complaining.

Good race, I think its fair to say the 250's won the most exciting race award of the day, but definetly a good gp race. Congrats on rossi , Im not 100% convinced casey binning it again was pressure this time around ( pretty hard to tell from watching it on a sofa ) but it really does look that way , when you look at the lap times ( specificly the lap before the crash, i believe caseys lap time went from 2.50/80's ahead of rossi to 3+ seconds.... pushed it too hard when he saw rossi putting in fastest laps ??? ) ...

OH and great to see lorenzo back on form !! and toseland put up an excellent battle with capi, cv and dovi !!

well disapointment in stoners crash would be putting it mildly. he's basicly handed the championship to rossi on a silver platter such a shame.

great to see lorenzo back on form runnig the same tires as pedrosa & thrashing him. finaly another rider able to run up front with the duc good run by elias for the 3rd spot on the box. pedrosa........... who cares. great & only fight on the track was for 5th 6th 7th good ride by vermi to get that 5th after such a .... start. nakano back to his usual spot. off to indy!!!
