If pedrosa's injury is as advertised (a small metacarpal fracture) it shouldn't affect his season too much.

I find it interesting there was so much crashing yesterday. I suppose it is likely down to the track conditions, but I am also wondering whether the other marques are attempting to tweak their traction control to match what they think ducati has.

Obviously can't be bad for yamaha even if it is only testing, but also quite intriguing.

De puniet always tries to set the fastest possible time even if it takes qualifying tyres. Stoner in the 2007 season and up to now in pre-season testing for 2008 has always tried to be dominant on race tyres in every session, not that his time today is not competitive on relatively few laps. I don't know whether these times mean he has finally learnt discretion after his latest shoulder injury, that he and ducati no longer have the advantage, or that he is not playing dominance games because pedrosa is not there. I think he knows there is no point playing games with vale.

Bring on the 2008 season. Even tomorrow will be interesting if they really try to set times.

I've seen that crash before. I'm pretty certain that's recycled footage, unless he's crashed the exact same way twice.

Hmmm. DePuntit still looks good. I think he's riding at his max so it will be interesting to see if anyone can beat him on qualis next session.

Good riding has the ability to eliminate all past transgressions. If Randy can keep it together during the first half of the season, he will earn my respect.

I'm happy with JT's progress, a second faster than day 1.

Lorenzo is darn quick!

Here is a quote from Edwards,is he telling the truth or is he playing highly paid Michelin Spokesman.

We burned a few laps and I have to say ‘hats-off’ to Michelin and a big thank you! We had problems last year, but without a doubt they have redeemed themselves and more; I am really pleased and we should know better than to doubt Michelin anyway,”

I think he is good. I hope for their sake Loris and CV are sand bagging because that is about all the development they are going to get this year.

So looks like motogp has gone widescreen finally?! Preseason videos now seem to be 16:9. Hope they are and are not just testing it or messed up the ratio somehow.
