I cannot wait for Rossi to retire so I can stop reading about him.

If you look at the Valencia Media Debrief from 2015 you'll see that Pedrosa himself, asked by a journalist, said that they didn't talk about nothing serious after Aragon.
“Maybe a joke on the podium, but nothing serious.”
The press conference was cancelled the riders were under strict gag orders. Pedrosa looked over and sees Marc and Lorenzo getting the firing squad. This was the tone for which Pedrosa chose to not get into the firing line.

Is this DonFatsie on donuts? I'll be sober in the morning.

Debate my points buddy.

If you live in a glass house don't throw rocks.

I prefer pizza, thank you.

I've read a few of the threads on this forum, and all your posts seem to have a very "hat made of tin foil" quality about them. Drugs seems to be the likeliest suspect.

So you give Rossi and Uccio a pass on their own now 2 year long adventure involving similar headgear?

Nope. It's item #158 in the VR46 catalogue.

He is a great rider, and a tough ......., and no doubt earned all those titles.

Given how he and his fans have treated any and all rivals over his storied career I don't see that he or his fans have much to complain about if he is finally copping some back blast, even if hyperbolic.

I've read a few of the threads on this forum, and I read you say Pasini almost won the Moto3 championship. Your posts seem to have a very "I don't know what the hell I'm talking about" quality about them. Ignorance or spending too much time at Jim's Burgers seems to be the likeliest suspect.

Debate me point by point with your plethora of knowledge buddy. Where should we start?

Back blast is all good, but if someone's going to criticise one wild, implausible conspiracy theory, wouldn't it be fair to criticise all of them?

On a side note, may I point out Nicky Hayden as a rival that's an exception to the rule?

Exception to what? Rossi said he got bum tires to explain why Nicky won whilst he crashed out in the 'season finale'. His fans went on to vilify Nicky as the fluke ( unlike that snot-nosed kid immature Marcos who told his fans to quit acting like a petulant children) he [VR] let it go on for a while.

Oh there's a conspiracy that Rossi subscribes to, tire. Let's start there then. Or do you prefer to debate what I've said so far in this thread. Should be easy, I'm on drugs.... but I'm starting to sober up. You're such a buzzkill.

( not sure what you can do about being ignorant though)

Hey my dogs are ginger, leave gingers alone :ninja:
Dog gingers are cool. Ignorant gingers human females, they're the best. If you find one you got something, female gingers are usually very well informed. Males, that's a different story.

Anyway, dogs are off limits here. You know that Daniboy.

DonFatsie, let's play a game, so far this is what I've contended on this thread:

1. The media has given disproportionate attention with a sense of grandiose exceptionalism to a rather "routine" come back in the pantheon of this sport. Debate.

2. In 2015 Rossi took issue with others racing him hard given as he reasoned, he was in title contention (even prompting riders to declare they would not move out of the way) there is now a dramatic reversal to that notion, which I call hypocritical. Debate.

3. Rossi has characteristically lost pace in the final laps of several races this year. It has been well contended that the factory chassis was a culprit to which they changed to mitigate the issue, however in the last race at Silverstone this pattern continued. This was a likely and plausible explanation for loss of pace at Aragon and not some wearing off of painkillers. Debate.

4. The injury that Rossi was carrying at Aragon diminished his performance by a very small percentage. Given the pattern of his finishing order, especially when other FrontRunners have finished, 5th was as likely without the injury. Debate.

5. (Edit) I've also said on this thread that Rossi riding in factory M1 is courtesy of negotiations that took place between the CEO of Dorna and Yamaha, which to me makes any record from that point forward illegitimate, given that most other riders are not effectively represented in this way by what amounts to be a sport agent that runs the company. Debate

That is where Jumkie comes from if you are at all familiar with this forum.

Hayden rode a great season with less than full support from HRC and active harm to his title bid from his team-mate and was belittled by a significant proportion of Valentino's fan base after Valentino had dismissed HRC as a threat to him, presumably being aware Hayden was riding for them.

Imo it is open slather on Valentino while he maintains his narrative about late season 2015, propounded to the world press at large from his bully pulpit rather than on an obscure Internet forum, and to the considerable real world detriment of his 2 most recent rivals, both great riders themselves. If you don't like it, tough, and i would look to the greater conspiracy theory being redressed first, not that you have done anything to refute Jumkie other than cry conspiracy theory as is the wont of those of your ilk. I am happy to be instructed in regard to any false moral equivalence in which I may have engaged.
