Rossi was riding like they need to treat him differently because he was riding wounded. Reality is, he needs to get out of the way if he is uncomfortable. I was really surprised to see him hold the line during passes, his normal style is to squirt out the back for a repass. To me he was intentionally putting himself in harms way.

I thought he rode well. Perhaps an element of hypocrisy in racing Vinales so hard particularly if he was wearing down physically/the painkillers were wearing off or whatever. No shenanigans with MM though.

He rode well. He rode very bravely. I await comment from his camp to see how they feel others rode against him. I kind of felt Dovi was a little hesitant around him possibly hurting his final result. But other than that everyone treat him like another racer.

Pedrosa feels there were shenanigans though.

Rossi never really had a chance to engage Marquez though, he just wasn't fast enough and he wouldn't have wanted to risk coming off.

Vinales struggling to get past an injured Rossi though is not that surprising. I said at the start of the year that this was probably the biggest ..... in his armour though I think lack of adaptibility has been shown this year as well.

Did anyone see what Dani was complaining about? Weaving?

When Dani slipstreamed Rossi and pulled up along side of him Rossi almost whether on purpose or not ran him off the track.

He's entitled to make himself as wide as possible, but Dani was clearly preturbed about it in the post race interview.

Great race, congrats to Marquez, he really is a great rider!
Good effort from VR as well.
Pedrosa really said "that" then he is absolutely irritated. Anyway it was no one's fault. It happens all the time.
Morbidelli maneuver was insane.

Rossi was messing around with title contender (Maverick Vinales).

Rossi was faster than Vinales for most of the race, when Maverick did catch him there was a bit of a scrap and he eventually got past. Consider this, Rossi is still mathematically in the championship so is entitled to fight for position. If he wasn't crocked Mav wouldn't have got anywhere near him.

Ah, all is normal is MotoGP world, again. I actually went to sleep right after the race, I was so relieved. The fastest guy won. Pretender contenders pretended. JLo was where he belongs. And Rossi haters are hating and fans are fanatical. I was surprised by Dani's comment. He is usually the Silent Midget Assassin, but being in Spain with a field filled with fast Spaniards might have empowered the little bot.

The Moto two race was good two. My only disappointment to the day was Zarco. I was looking for more from the Frog.

Sure, Vinales himself is only 28 ahead of him with the 4 point turnaround from passing him, and as has been said should have been able to pass him more decisively.

MM is fairly obviously going to win the title anyway barring a mishap, and would have a comfortable lead now if that engine hadn't let go.

JKnock's dream assed arrived.

rossi was just holding everyone up after about half race distance. Not surprised Pedro had a go at him.

Agree, he's really hitting a purple patch now has won 4 out of the last 6 with the latest one coming when he says that he didn't feel good on the bike. Despite that he was able to put the bike wherever he wanted and expected brilliant passes.

The engine letting go has IMO made it look to the passers by that anyone else is in with a chance but barring another engine failure or stupid mistake he won't be caught from here.
