Why bring this back up? Read the entire argument to get your answer. Better yet this, bringing this back up is what I don't like about his fans.

"was what it was" is a way of saying I don't want to argue anymore. You won't get into my opinion of Stoner, you will only attack me for having it so drop it.

Did you mean 'bum' fight between me and MdubSTYLIE, or other bums, here. Because if you really meant buns, I think I will object on the grounds of a sensitive stomach. Except for a couple of ladies that have posted here, I have no interest in seeing any other forum member buns fighting. Uck.

Good post of your views. I am tired of Pedrosa, too. Give him a championship, if it will get him off the Repsol team and we can have someone else there. NOT CRUTCHLOW, though.

I started to post a really long silly monologue last night after getting more than slightly inebriated. I was worried it was WAY TOO LONG till there was more world class racing to ..... about, and the site needed some posts. I realized the post was way too silly, thus I bailed and watched an old race, instead. Good move, I think. :cool:

Most people are entirely happy to debate your opinion, which seems to be what leads you to the desire to proscribe discussion of a topic in regard to which (only imo of course) you seldom win the argument.

I really don't feel like I've ever concluded an argument about my opinion of stoner. I chose to drop it after being treated a certain way. My opinion is the same and I'd really rather just drop it.

Fine, entirely your right to do so.

Our recent contretemps however was over you wishing to proscribe an in context reference to the rider concerned in a discussion about the current Ducati riders by 2 posters other than you which had not involved you, and one of those posters has also not been involved in any years long discussions or obsessions (either pro- or anti-) in regard to him, and as far as I am aware has no strong opinions in general about him, and in particular no emotionally invested position, again either pro- or anti-, in regard to him.

Are you talking about the joke I made? Was it a private conversation? I don't know what your argument is here. Yea I did want to get into Stoner but it went the way it always does. I hoped maybe time would change that. So I stopped sharing my opinion as you hoped. I will always have a negative opinion of stoner but not nearly as negative as I have about a lot of his fans. Take that as you want. I wont make the mistake of joking with you again. Your point has been made.

Whoa! I didn't attack you. I was looking through the thread again and saw in your post that you wanted to inspire more discussion to keep things going during the off time, so I thought, OK, I'm game. You have my word, if you really want to outline your heartfelt reasons for disliking Stoner, I say, go with it and I will only give non-insulting replies. You are aware that the only reason the thread has diverted this way is because you keep complaining about the fact that people like to talk about Stoner. You say you're OK with Stoner, it's his fans that bug you. Aside from the fact that they like to bring up a rider they admire, what else do they do that annoys you so much? Of course you can just ignore this if it makes you uncomfortable.

Do I need to review what we last talked about MdubSTYLIE? I can "deal" with a rational 'anti-Stoner' viewpoint in opposition to Stoner fans. I suppose it is no different than the 'anti-Rossi' viewpoint in opposition to Rossi fans. Except Stoner fans don't wear blue kangaroos and blame every other rider when their guy isn't hopping so good.

Keshav and I stopped directly arguing about Andrea Dovizioso, so I understand not wanting to continue the argument about Stoner, just because it seems pointless. However, we will all revisit these issues, and I am sure that most will agree that Cal is the Clown, and Dani is a midget. Just my 2 cents. (Bring it).

Oh, by the way, I just talked to my very, very old mum, MdubSTYLIE, and you would kill her, if you rode her.

You have and other have debated me rationally but the ones that won't are the reason I don't want to talk about it anymore. I am well aware that my opinion of him is rather harsh but it doesn't make it not my opinion. The yellow hoard is a joke, no argument here. To me Rossi and Stoner are not opposites. They don't need to be dualy recognized. It is possible to have a negative opinion of both. The thing about Stoner is(.... dude you got me talking about him) I have a lot of negative things and controversial opinions of him. But I don't think he is evil like Rossi. Can we leave it at that?

Your last line frightened me a bit. I thought about it, you are a pony so your mom is a horse. I don't do horses. Not my thing.

Actually I don't want Pedrosa to ever win a title at this point because I'm of the mind that if he couldn't get it done when he had a favorable bike, he has no business ever winning a title. I am not into sympathy titles, and I am going to remain consistent on this issue because Dorna has been trying to get Rossi his 8th title purely as a sympathy title. So I remain vehemently opposed to any such thing for any rider as if you apply it to one, you have to start applying it to how many other riders? Why not just rescind Kevin Schwantz's 1993 title and give it to Wayne Rainey on account of his leading the championship at the time his spinal cord was severed out of sympathy?
