Sadlly the final race of the season,

And love him or loathe him the last you will see Schumaker in a car...

Discuss what you think is going to happen in this race??????

I really cant wait for this race to start. I have the feeling it will be a great race. Will it be the race where the most successful driver ever ends his career by winning his last GP ever? Or will the youngest champion ever take the victory?? Maybe Mclaren will finally win a race this season..who knows?? I'm not too sure about that though..

I'm kinda sad, cause it's the last race of the season

Personally I think MS will win the race and Massa will probably reach the podium as well. They will try to win the WCC. Only a miracle will give MS his 8th Formula 1 title. I guess everything is possible, but it's more realistic to expect FA will end in the top 8 and make it 2 in a row.

Bring it on!!!!

There was been much debate about Schumacher and what he's going to do in this race for quite some time now, and we've eventually arrived and it's deal or no deal time for Michael Schumacher.

If he wants to win this years World Championship he's got a lot of work to do and a lot of planning to do. He could hope that Alonso has a mechanical failure again or crashes, whereas Schumacher might decide to get somebody to take him off...Massa for example or even his own brother Ralf (even though I very much doubt this two guys would do anything harsh like that for someone else, I don't even think they would do it for themselves)! However, I do think that Schumacher will still have that little horrible devil sitting on his shoulder telling him to force Alonso to crash so Schumacher can win the world championship yet again but i'm not sure if he will do anything harsh like that this time round seeing as it's his fareweell race and he wants to go out on a 'fan's high'. He still has the capabilities to take Alonso out though even though it will be hard to do so in a F1 car nowadays without taking yourself out too which Schumacher cannot afford to do, but if Alonso gives him a couple of chances for Schumacher to take him off it wouldn't suprise me if Schumacher lost it and did take him off.

Anyway, prediction time. I reckon the race outcome will be like this no matter what happens:-

1st = Michael Schumacher
2nd = Felipe Massa
3rd = Fernando Alonso

4th = Kimi Raikkonen
5th = Jenson Button
6th = Giancarlo Fisichella
7th = Pedro De Le Rosa
8th = Rubens Barrichello

This race is going to be very long for me. Ferrari have been the best car lately so I guess MS will win and Massa will end up 2nd.

Alonso will take it easy, he only needs 1 point.

GO ALONSO!!!

Driver quotes from Friday's practice:-

Michael Schumacher, Ferrari (6th, + 1.166s):
“Of course, I am well aware this is my last Grand Prix, but once I am in the car, it feels no different to any other. I am here with my family and my closest friends which makes me happy. I would like to thank BMW Sauber for their nice gesture (running ‘Thanks Michael’ on their rear wings). On the technical front, first impressions are good: the car and the Bridgestones seem to be working well. The situation seems pretty close and from our side we are happy with the work we have done today. Our aim is clearly to try and win the constructors’ championship and that will require a one-two finish.”

Felipe Massa, Ferrari (17th, + 2.014s):
“We worked a lot on car set-up, which was not quite right at the start of the session, especially in terms of grip. Towards the end, we managed to improve, which makes me reasonably confident for tomorrow. My yellow and green race suit? It’s a tribute to my country and I must say I am very happy to have my first race in a Ferrari in Brazil wearing our national colours.”

It's got to be said, Ferrari are looking the dominant force yet again at Brazil.

Interestingly no Renault drivers have commented after Friday's practice which is strange for them.

MS will win, And FA is under pressure to bag at least 1 point which is as hard as winning sometimes.

Barrichello needs to finish, as his home GP has been a nightmare of non finishes in the past.

I'm not so sure about MS winning. He's starting from tenth on the grid after some mechanical problems in qualy (Karma is getting him??)

GO ALONSO!!!

Nah just alonso's grubby fingers tampering in the ferrari's garage like the previous gp

My prediction was made before qualifying. Looks like massa win now. MS and FA will both dnf

What a race.

MS picking up a puncture, but what a drive to come from 70 secs behind to finish 4th.

Great drive from Massa and the first Brazilian to win there for 13 years!!!

Well done to Alonso back to back champion and also Renault for sealing the constructers title.

Button drove from 14th to finish 3rd, unlucky for Williams and Toyota,

Roll on next year.

Felipe Massa wins the Brazilian Grand Prix of Sao Paulo.
Fernando Alonso becomes back-to-back world champion after finishing 2nd and picking up a mighty 8 points when he only needed 1.
Britain's Jenson Button finished 3rd in the Honda after qualifying 14th!
Michael Schumacher made his way behind Fisichella and Alonso when he picked up a puncture when he overtook Fisichella into turn 1. He then had to do the best part of 3/4 of a lap on a punctured tyre and lost loads of time, track positions and was forced to pit. He did brilliantly and pulled off some good overtaking moves (most let him through without a fight though, except Kimi Raikkonen with 3 laps remaining), Michael Schumacher ended up in 5th with Raikkonen in 5th and Ficihella 6th.

Fernando Alonso is now a 2 times back-to-back world champion.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Classic

I'm happy Massa won his home GP. He drove a very good race. There's not much to say about it really. He stsrted from pole and he won without any problems.

Too bad MS had that tyre problem, I think he would have won otherwise. He once again showed he's still good enough to drive great races. Not that I was having any doubts..
It's kinda sad to see MS leave f1. I cant wait for next season, but it's weird to think about 2007 and MS not being there. I will miss him!!

Nando made it 2 in a row!! He deserved to win the title. I think both guys deserved it. They both drove a great season.
Gefeliciteerd Alonso!!!!
