<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Teomolca @ Jun 30 2007, 11:53 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>His strategy is crap since he can't change his fuel load because it was Q3, he will be much lighter than the guys inmediatly ahead and behind him.

Basically the only thing that can save him now is rain. Otherwise he's screwed, cause not only his gearbox broke down, but also had a sensor problem in the brakes in FP3 so he missed that too (could only do 1 full lap)
So his car is not set up.
Still he must have a good enough strategy to at least have a good result (imo). I guess he aint that heavy, but who says he's that light, and even if he is, he can still beat most guys with his race pace and a strong start. So, he shouldn't be too worried..or maybe he should, since Lewis can increase the gap now.

We'll find out tomorrow!!

I totally enjoyed that race, some great action on track from Alonso especially. Trouble is that Alonso should be disappointed because he should have done better. The BMW both did really well today, its nice to see them getting closer race by race and with both drivers doing similar it solidifies their position. Lewis got all he ever would from the day because Ferrari were too good. Kimi was perfect today, that was a drive that Kimi needed and what i've been expecting/hoping to see from him all year, well done.

The result was pretty good for the championship point of view and now i am super excited about Silverstone, where Lewis will have a hard time for sure. Also nice too see Button get a point to show Honda have made progress.

Was a nice race!! I definitely enjoyed it!!
Obviously I'm happy to see Raikkonen win a race again!!
Great domination from the Ferrari guys, it was clear when Mclaren pitted early on they would not gonna win today. Kimi FINALLY had a decent start, and he so needed that, it was crucial for his strategy, if he would have been stuck behind Lewis, Massa would have won his 3rd race of the season.

Now the top 4 all won 2 races each!! It seems Ferrari made some progress, hope they can come closer in the standings after next week's race. I'm sure all the fans in England hope otherwise (which is totally understandable)

Lewis did what he had to, finish on the podium. Fernando had a hard race, starting from 10th place. He showed some great stuff when he was battling with Quick Nick, unfortunately in the end it wasn't enough, cause both BMW drivers finished in front of him. Now the gap between LH and FA got a little bit bigger. The pressure on FA is only increasing, but he's a great driver, I'm sure he will fight hard to beat Lewis, but it's not gonna be easy, since Lewis is the most consistent guy of the front runners, finishing ALL races on the podium. Very good!!!

What the hell was Albers thinking?????
<

He made a stupid mistake which could have resulted in something more dangerous. Thankfully everyone was ok.

Great for Button and Honda they took a point!!!

I don't think it was his fault, his lollipop man told him to go, and how was he to know he still had a fuel line in?

Alonso was right on it, still do not understand why he shouldn't have been placed higher.

Well done to Kim though, how Button got points is anyones guess, 1 stopping or not.

Race highlight Spyker car driving out of the pits with the fuel hose still attached lol

Quick Nick, and it really suits him, cause he is a fast driver.

It was his fault. He even admitted himself. It was actually really stupid. The driver has to wait till the lollipop goes down, he started driving when it hadn't happened yet. Thankfully everyone was ok. He should really do a great job from now on, cause making errors like this, and getting beaten by Sutil isn't great at all. So he better improve soon!!

You seem pretty sure, but i want to disagree with you. Pause this until i've seen it again because i'm not entirely sure.

OMG, you're funny you know that!!!
<

You can disagree, but it WAS his fault, not because I say so, but because you can see it, and Albers said so himself. And so did Mike Gascoyne.

So, I'm waiting for the magical words ''I AGREE with you''
<

It was Albers fault, the lollipop guy just flicked the lollipop to show "1st gear" and Albers mistankenly thought he could go.

....... frustrating race anyway.
<

Varunica, you need to stop being an armchair critic
<

Maybe it was Albers fault, maybe it wasn't, I dunno. I'm not sure if they can see the fuel man in their wing mirrors, and I think the lollipop man released him too early from what I've seen, but then again I've only seen it once. At the end of the day, have any of us sat in a Formula One car during a pitstop? They're under alot of pressure, mistakes happen, and I don't think its fair to start a witchhunt.

Well done to Kimi, drove a great race today. Martin Brundle wanted him to do a Schumi leap on the podium, but it wasn't to be
<

And Hamilton, does this guy ever make a mistake?
<
Even when he gets frustrated he never seems to run wide or lock the brakes.

He does lock his tyres often, and somehow he manages to still be quick, and that pisses me off big time.

I dont wanna just blame people, especially not Albers (since I like him), but it was his fault. I dont need to prove it, he said so himself, his boss said so as well, how much proof do you people want?
<

It can happen, like you said there's always pressure involved..

I will laugh A LOT the day Kimi will do a MS leap on the podium. Dont think that will ever happen, but it would be cool
<

About Lewis, he's just THAT good. I can't believe he's sooooooo damn good. Still no mistakes. He's amazing!! I dont wanna get too carried away, but DAMN, he's GOOD!!
<

Ok, I guess I made my point, he's good
