Estoril, practice and qualifying.

Stoner will hold his cards close to his chest during FP and QP before revealing his pace in warm up.

Rossi fastest Ducati and on 2nd row riding the GP12.69

Cal disappointing race weekend and the doubters will rip into him.

Another waste of time in fp1 cause of a few puddles. They got to get some intermediates sorted pronto, this half arsed wet/dry is making my .... itch

So is it the weather or Spies, Hayden & Rossi are on something....and Lorenzo at the bottom time sheeet..

It is only practice, but so far it looks as though Spies is actually making progress this week.

Krop pointed out Rossi was on his hot lap when he lost .5 in the final sector. .5 would put him in what, fifth? Hope? A little bit?

Rossi's sector times standings:

T1 - 3rd

T2 - 11th

T3 - 6th

T4 - 11th

Putting things in perspective, he obviously needs to work on T2 & T4. So, what it is about T2 & 4 that slows him down? Considering his T1 time is pretty good, braking isn't the problem. Mid corner speed and/or drive out of the corner I'm thinking? Elongating the bike may slow down directional changes as well. Barbara must be enjoying this too much; can't blame him.

We already have a captain hindsight. And now

Do you think maybe he is having front end problems?

I was clearing things up for Cankles & MickD...

I think he's having problem w/corner exit & flipping the bike. Probably can't put the power down & flip the bike quick enough. I think T1 is a "front end zone", where heavy braking is done - so I don't think it's a front end problem.

Just having a little fun dude. Good info I just found that statement a little obvious.

But to your not thinking its a front end problem I disagree. The two sectors he is bad in are the faster sectors with lots of fast corners, and thats where he seems to have no front end feel. The last corner & the kink on the back straight must be a ..... on that pos. I would imagine the only two people who could take those corners correctly on the duc are CS and BarryMachine.
