Rossi has the best track record there, but capirossi won Ducati's first victory there. Danni has won there at least twice and it's home turf.
So my bet is
1. Rossi
2. Capirossi
3. Pedrosa

I quite agree with Babelfish: Rossi and Capirossi will, in my opinion, do very good out there. I also think Dani will do good, but I have some reservations, so I don't know.

Really hard to say, Rossi has historically been very successful there. It's a very Ducati friendly track with that big straight which should help Capirossi and Gibernau. Melandri was strong the entire race until his off track excursion and he went under the Mugello track record today in testing so he's on good form. Pedrosa just put in a solid performance in Italy and teammate Hayden put in, what I thought was, a very brave ride to stay with Rossi and Capirossi in Italy. All that being said, Gibernau and Pedrosa are going to be feeding off the Spanish crowd. I know it's early but I think my predictions will look something like this:

Head Says:
1. Rossi
2. Pedrosa
3. Hayden

Heart Says
1. Rossi
2. Hayden
3. Gibernau

head says:
i should be studying ... and what i say wont happen

heart says:
1) Gibbers
2) Hayden
3) Melandri (i wanna see them all pip Rossi off the podium)

Pedrosa will rip it up on home turf like he did at Jerez, and that was before he was a race winner, but Rossi is back in business. Capirossi is going to be strong but can he keep up with those two? It`s not Mugello. Sete, home track, good bike for it, but where`s the speed been so far this year. I doubt he`ll last as much as I want him to.

So head says:

Pedrosa on pole, then

1 Rossi
2 Pedrosa
3 Capirossi
4 Gibernau
5 Hayden
6 Elias
7 Melandri
8 Stoner
9 Edwards
10 Tamada
11 Nakano
12 KRJR
13 Checa
14 Vermulen
15 Hoffman
16 Ellison
17 Cardoso

DNF: Hopkins, DePuniet

Now let`s see that come true

those were pretty accurate predictions. I wonder what people would say if Rossi did win by 3.7 secs.

It is all predictable from here my friends, now that Yamaha are sorted.

Gibbers will get most of the poles from now on. To fast on his own.
Loris second pole position.
Rossi third or lower pole, does not matter.

Gibbers leads most races from pole, with Rossi and others close behind him. Others catch Gibbers, then Gibbers falls away due to any number of possible reasons, like his boot falls off.
<

Rossi dogs the leaders for most of the race from second or third place. In some races Rossi breaks away with one other rider and dogs him in second place, occasionally he leads the race.

Rossi leaves it till the third or second last lap, takes the lead and then increases the gap and wins.

If it rains or Rossi breaks away from the others early he wins.

I hope most races are not like this a repeat of last season, but I bet the majority will be.

First off, what a race in Mugello....I've always been a Rossi fan since he raced 125 and I haven't seen him have to push that hard for a long time....it was great.....I would love to see Rossi make the comeback....nothing was worse for me than seeing him get two DNF's due to mechanical failure....I'd rather see him get beaten fair and square, in a duel. Pedrosa is a strong rider, but I feel like he comes off a bit bitchy and arrogant....Loris is overdue for a championship and of course Hayden would be great ..... I'm headed to Laguna for my first live GP in July!

My predictions are:

1. Rossi

2. Hayden

3. Capirossi
