hey just cause they make that swill here don't mean we all drink it! i'm sure there's breweries in oz that pump out the swill as well!

Not that specific hogwash, no. Back home I`d be shot for saying this, because part of being an Aussie is loving OUR beer, but I gotta say it ain`t the best either. German and Dutch beers kick ..., and even Japanese beer is pretty sweet. Nothing beats a Corona though

And you say us Yanks have bad taste in beer. I really don't see the big appeal in Corona. Personally, I think there are better beers to come out of Mexico much less the rest of the world. I'll be honest, being underage makes being a global beer coneseur a bit more difficult but I've had my share. I think Becks is a real good one, Stella Artois I really enjoy. I had some huge German beer one night, I was too housed to remember the name but it was very good. As far as American beer goes, most of it tastes the same. I enjoy Rolling Rock, Leinenkugels and Grain Belt.

Just an aside, did the "Catalunya Prediction" thread just turn into a beer discussing thread? New topic being formed in Lounge...

Ooost corona is the best mexican beer out there imo. i started drinking it after i got back from germany. it reminded me of a local brew i had somewhere near koln. alot of the beers u mention above i'd put in the swill catagory. most american beers are swill as well. once you've had alot of german beer, the rest...... well it just does'nt cut it!

Yeah, I gotta agree. I had my first Corona a few months ago. It was really exotic and so much different to anything else I`d ever had, I fell in love straight away.

And it`s a bit late to be making predictions for Catalunya, Ooost, so why not talk about somthing else?
