<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (richo @ Jun 7 2006, 03:35 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Following up on our superiour accuracy, Dazz, I`m gonna go with what my heart`s telling me now:

Pole: Nakano followed closely by Gibernau

Race:

1. Nakano to lap everybody at least once

LOL

A Nakano's fan deep inside the heart?
<

This is getting silly now. I do it off who is on form so have a think guys and girlsthen you maybe right
<

PS WAY to early. I think the Sachen ring one should be done the week leading up to it. There are 3 races back to back to back so thats why I didnt say Assen

Richo I don't agree with most of your predictions but I think you got two things right. Nakano lapping everyone at least once is nearly a guarantee and Cardoso finishing last with three pit stops is also pretty accurate.

Ahead of Catalunya and the massive home straight, here's the max speed times over the whole Mugello weekend in m.p.h. for those of us who haven't joined the euro yet, interesting reading..

1. Stoner 208.75
2. Capirossi 208.44
3. Tamada 207.75
4. Elias 207.31
5. Hoffman 207.25
6. Pedrosa 206.94
7. Gibernau 206.75
8. Hopkins 206.75
9. Hayden 206.13
10. Rossi 205.81

I like Nakano, no question about that, In my humble opinion he`s the best Japanese rider currently on the international scene. But the reason he`s at the top is the Green Machine! It`s also the only reason DePuniet get`s in the top ten

You`re right, Wes. That`s why none of mine are too serious.... Vermulen on the podium and all.

But If I make my prediction on Monday night you'll say it`s too late. WHERE IS THE MIDDLE GROUND!?!

<
but this one you have to fancy Danni !
<

1.Pedrosa
2.Hayden
3.Rossi
4.gibbers

My Prediction:

1. Rossi (for a change)
2. Hayden (after a comeback from illness)
3. Capirossi (behind Rossi haha)
4. Pedrosa (good lad, you chose the right tyres)
5. Stoner (you're stronger than the bike this time)

lol, that's an excellent one! Which I'd absolutely love to happen...
Btw, my 2 cent goes to a brilliant performance by Elias. By brilliant I mean Jerez 4th position revisited, if not podium.

Is Katt the only one here to tip Marco for the rostrum? mmmmm? Mugello could have panned out a bit differently had Marco not run off track and Casey dropped his Honda. I'm not saying Rossi wouldn't have won but it could have been even more exciting if that's possible. I can't even begin to call Catalunya but add Marco, Casey and Dani in to the mix right at the front and what do you get? Rossi ain't got that big a jump on anyone of the six other guys that could win a race. Hayden, Pedrosa Gibernau, Melandri, Stoner, Capirossi. I wish it was tomorrow.

dont talk 2 me about catalunya
<
ive got to pick a m8 up from gatwick at 11, it took me 1 hour 36 to get there at 5 am but it took me 1 hour 48 cuminin bak so im fu.... i think

first race ive missed live since late 2001

Melandri maybe... it`s become really hard to predict with him this year, he`s really been up and down. Sometimes winning, sometimes struggling to make the top ten... I think Hayden somehow stole the consistency he was buliding up last year
<

As for Stoner, he`s another one that`s hard to predict. He could land anywhere, but if Rossi stays upright, Hayden reserves another podium spot, Capirossi has a good day, and the Spanish army attack, there`s not really that much room left for Stoner, is there?

In the normal run of things I'd agree Richo, but this season isn't really 'normal' is it? What I meant was if we get more races panning out like 125 races with a bunch of six guys all close at the front then anything can happen. Mugello was a scrappy race for sure and all it takes is one mistake, Rossi's mistake into turn one with Sete following is a prime example, if you add two battlers like Marco and Stoner into the mix when something like that happens, it's more fun for us. If some of these guys have enough speed that Rossi can't break away, which some of them do, it's more fun for us.
<

I reckon Marco has a good chance at catalunya ...
a ) he likes the track
b ) he's been up to speed all season
c ) he was fast at mugello (yes after the race, a day late ... but still fast)

you can't really discount anyone this season ... look even KRJ is getting faster.
<

even my boy vermuelen ... he has been to unseen tracks for 4 races now ... but he has been round catalunya during testing ...even he could bring the shituzki up into contention. even hopper ... he did well in testing there too.

seriously, when it comes to race day, statistics, previous times, predictions ... they all go out the window. it could be anyone
