People's memories are short. B-Stones were less than perfect too.

Not wrong, after their long run as the control tyre supplier I remember a resurfacing of PI knocking them for a six, they had to include a mandatory pit stop in the race and that was on a track they had a lot of experience with. By comparison Michelin did an outstanding job for their first attempt at new track, even prior testing considered.

Great race,i haven't had time to watch the post race press conference yet but as i watched the race live i thought how great the thai fans were, especially the Rossi supporters for not booing Marquez, take note all you tossers in Europe, that's how it's supposed to be,show your enthusiasm and pay respect to guys with fantastic talent,it's a sport not a pantomime.

Great race!
As much as I would have wanted #04 to clinch it, I am happy for Marquez. A fully deserved win for the (currently) fastest man on the planet.

It's also good to see the Yamahas competitive again (especially if Vinales finishes in front of Rossi :D:devil::devil::devil:).

Those last four laps were terrific. Great to see the two Yamahas up at the pointy end. Despite the heat and the abrasive surface, compounded by the newness of the circuit, there were very few crashes. Michelin (after a long long time) are starting to look respectable.

Did you see 2 and 3? Lots of crashes :(

And yes, last few laps were awesome!

Loved the weekend races. Actually, I'll qualify that for the GP race - the last 5 - 10 laps! At one point, it was a little bit like an F1 race... well, not quite that bad but it was a bit followy. Then all hell broke loose!

The back patting hugs in parc ferme were as it should be - same with the amazing crowd. It looks like it was a great atmosphere.

Not a Rossi fan, but brilliant to see the yams back in the mix.

And yaay Markymarc won. I kinda hope Dovi does well in Japan just to eke the excitement out for a bit.

Fantastic race and good to see that its not just Ducati and Honda in the mix again, Rossi went far to early and should maybe have worked with Vinales, helping each other out until the end few laps, but I can't see that happening now to be honest, as I think that Vinales may think he can grab 3rd, he certainly looked the better Yamaha rider by some margin.
The fans were fantastic as well, what a great party atmosphere and no booing at all. Maybe when the series returns to europe for the last race, Dorna should make an announcement that anyone booing will be thrown off the circuit and their face will be published on site so they can be banned at other circuits.

He doesn't need an excuse. Anyway, doesn't matter if you have him on ignore. I can't see or hear him, and really could give a .... what he thinks. He just doesn't matter. He's irrelevant.

The irony of an irrelevant failed racer turned harmonium peddler decreeing what a highly successful world championship racer should do is lost on Kurryfart.

Not a surprise, but LOL.

Children should be seen, not heard! If you have nothing positive to contribute to this thread about the race. You should just shut up and just read.

Just put him on ignore and be done with it. Unless that is you feel compelled to subject yourself to his irrelevant prattle and childish rage. He only lives for your attention. Don’t give it to him. When you put a troll on ignore it’s like that moment right after you swat a buzzing fly, and the room is quiet again.

Rossi didn't have the stamina to finish what he started. Great ride for a guy his age - but if I wanted to see guys his age doing what they do best, I could hang around the office of a prostate doctor.

so sick of hearing about his age. its been studied that age has the least affect in motor sports. if you cant do it leave regardless of age. so 4th or 5th at his age means a title GTFO. 25 and counting without a win.

not saying you were making excuses for age but i ment the age thing in general not directed toward you

Least, I’ll wager in 4 wheel motorsports. Regardless, it’s a factor. The demands on the human body in The course of a 45 minute race in high heat on a MotoGP bike are high even on a 25 year old.

huh? There was only 2 crashes in 2 and 3? There were more than that, I sat and watched them.

Crashing in practice means nothing. That is how racers find the limits of the track and find set-up. Crashing during the race is what counts, not practice.

Ah. I now realise my error. I meant in the moto 2 and moto 3 races.

The use of sophisticated electronic aids has to make riding for senior competitors easier.
